It's time for real competition. That's capitalism and not the CRONY RIGGED TRADE AGREEMENTS that your corrupt Globalist Degenerates love.
“Trump leaves Mexico without 3,600 jobs,”
I’m trying to hold back the tears.
Bet they’re reconsidering paying for the wall.
The bottom line is: To what extent should the US care what happens in Mexico once the wall is up?
If Trump is able to cajole companies into repatriating that is good for US.
I’m not sure who is going to be more angry, the Mexican workers or NAFTA supporters.
Well said. Mexico has been pandered to for far too long by CRONY CAPITALISTS (and presidents). Let them take care of their poverty and lack of any business management...not the American taxpayer.
In the long term Trump’s policies will benefit Mexico. A prosperous U.S. will mean more trade, tourism, investment, etc. for Mexico.

Sad it isn’t 360k jobs lost in mexico.
Hopefully, the Mexican el presidente will follow through with his threat to call all of his people home from the U.S.
This will all be used as leverage.
First off, the wall will go up. You will stop sending over your unwanted and will take back the criminals you have sent or we will absolutely PUNISH YOU.
The original idea was that more trade would increase jobs on both sides of the border, and that more jobs in Mexico would mean fewer border-jumpers.
It hasn’t worked out that way on either count. The US has been industrialized (a lot of it going to China as it turns out) and Mexicans are still crossing the border by the hundreds of thousands.
The GRINGO’s are taking our jerbs!!!
Why care. They’ve had decades to get their house in order. I don’t know what percentage but its not an insubstantial amount of bureaucrats collecting bribe money. They sold their souls to the criminal underworld. If they can’t straighten out then who really cares what happens their side of the wall?
This IS the beginning of paying for the wall
Make fun of the Gringo. In two years Mexico will only be a narco state at best.
Just remember my FRiends, unconstitutional federal acts under Trump that seem to favor the Right (”feel good tyranny”) should be shunned as much as belligerent unconstitutional federal acts like those under Obama.
Protectionist tariffs, though not advisable, are not unconstitutional. But federal interference with business market decisions are generally unconstitutional.
Remember, it was Bush who greased the skids for Obama. So often it is a GOP President who unconstitutionally grows the feds in a “feel-good” way. But as we should all know, tyranny sooner or later becomes oppressive and miserable.
To clarify, unconstitutional acts of the feds are by definition acts of tyranny.
Why can’t Mexico make their own damn car?
Mexico: ¡Vete al infierno!
