Republicans kept repealing Obamacare while O was in office [knowing would go nowhere]. Now... NOTHING!

Being the wielder of the national credit card, Trump can slash spending to less than revenue, pay down debt with the difference, send debatable laws to the Supreme Court, refuse to enforce Obamacare failure-to-comply fines, eviscerate departments to creatively “comply” with laws, and threaten to do things he wants if Congress doesn’t agree to facilitate other things he wants.
Suggestion: there’s an exemption to the 922(o) post-’86 machinegun ban - Trump could tell Congress “I’m going to sign an EO authorizing all non-felon non-mentally-ill citizens to buy new machineguns, if you don’t pass ‘national reciprocity’ and ‘hearing protection act’ within 30 days”. (HINT.)

Yes, as usual, McConnell is one of the principal impediments to getting anything done that benefits the American people. He is a post turtle, but a very resilient one. The challenge to all of us is to figure out what will finally get him in gear or out of office. We need a national contest to find that answer.
Exactly, I’m glad someone else has said it. They aren’t doing anything to support Trump at all! He is taking all of the bullets and no one so much as gets on tv to defend him. The only time these fools find the camera is when they disagree with him on something. For crying out loud they can’t even get his cabinet members a VOTE! How in the world are they going to get his SC pick confirmed? On Obamacare, NOTHING! Taxes, NO IDEAS. Democrats are going to end up pushing immigration bills before they Republicans ever do. Even on infrastructure the democrats are talking and the Republicans are hiding. No wonder people were saying they were just obstructionist, they have NO IDEA how to govern! Now is the chance you have be begging for for a decade and what have you done?
The GOP Congress better get with the program or there won’t be a GOP. They’re on borrowed time.

We knew it could come to this. Trump is up for it; we just have to cover his six.
They are so used to doing nothing, they can’t figure out how to do anything. They’re still afraid of the media.

They are worse than do-nothings. They are obstructionists.
They are only there for themselves and could care less about the voters. Trump is exposing them for what they really are so they detest him.
Problem is that the uniparty has a death grip on the state and county political apparatus of both parties. Conservatives in both parties will have to find and run their own candidates w/o the dubious assistance of party apparatchiks, who will be doing their level best to put the kibosh on any grass roots efforts.

I warned everyone back during the primaries, When Trump Wins he will be attacked from all sides... WE THE PEOPLE will need to be even more motivated and active after he wins than during the election because the powers that be on both sides of the aisle will be against him.
Make no mistake, We need to start recruiting now for candidates to take out Republicans in primaries in 18... Because while some will get it, many more will not. Don’t kid yourselves folks, our work is far far from over.
