[Snip] The country and the world have now quickly learned that much of Trumps rhetoric was indeed to be taken literally, and his recent immigration ban is by far the new presidents most controversial move to date. Now, in the latest chapter of this saga, 97 companies including some of the biggest names in tech have banded together to file a legal brief in opposition of Trumps executive order on immigration.

Good for you! Actions speak louder than words.
Just added them to my ban list. Never heard of most of them.
Theres a very powerful symbiosis between large parts of corporate America and the Left going on at this moment in our history.
Their interests coincide, as they have found they can both benefit and grow from having control of the nanny state and the massive Fed.gov debt and spending.
Agree...let’s start with Netflix. Their homegrown movie industry is complete shit anyway!
Ok, I’ll add these companies to my verboten list. Only problem I see is Apple. I have iPhones and iPads and right now I’m totally dependent on them. Might have to switch to Samsung. I got rid of Amazon, deleted my account and got rid of all Kindle books and a Kindle Paperwhite. Shredded my Starbucks card. Life is getting simpler!
This has actually become a very interesting issue, and the terrorism/national security part is not the most important one.
The REALLY important question is, can the People, acting through their representatives, make laws which govern who is admitted to the country and the circumstances under which they are admitted?
Most normal people believe the answer is “yes”. It appears that most Swamp Creatures (judges, lawyers, CEOs, entertainers, etc.) believe the answer is “no”.
I’m wondering just how many H-1B visas are at these companies from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Somalia etc.
I suspect very few.
Which means these companies fear a halt to H-1b from India, China and Pakistan. That would CRUSH them.
H1B turned my office into a majority Indian facility in 2 years.
Consumer don’t usually buy Intel. They buy from the people who buy from Intel.
BK is concerned about the threat to H-1B in general. And wants to be seen as “part of the team”.
Notice: Cisco is not on the list.
Evidence he’s “half way out”? And which ideas are you referring to?
My wife had severe GERD and had a serious resectioning of the connection between her esphogus and stomach.
.
Post op, she was told no solid foods for 6 to 8 weeks. Most of the bottled liquid proteins made her throw up.
Fortunately, we found out about Bolthouse Chocolate Protein Drink. It may have saved her life.
Her doctor towards the end of the 6-8 weeks told her to try some yogurts. She tried a couple of bites of the C product and got nauseated. She went to an area yogert and did okay.
She still drinks 3-4 qts of the Bolthouse Chocolate Protein drink aweek. No yogurts after the C thing. She, now can eat anything in small amts.
Chobani is yougut. Brand X is almost as good and 1/2 the price.
They're on my ban lists:
Amazon - LGBT, Trump Haters, #BLM
Cisco - LGBT
IBM - LGBT
Oracle - LGBT, Planned Parenthood
Hewlett Packard - LGBT, and stole my credit card after placing an order with them. Will never buy anything from them again.
Texas Instruments - LGBT
WMWare - have nothing on them. What's their beef?
This list is just the tip of the iceberg. Trump was the right guy to come along and confront this. Americans deserve more opportunity to be employed in their own country and not be cut off at the knees by cheap imported labor.
IIRC, the father of one boy congratulated him on the rape.
Chobani also supports LGBT.
Thanks for the link to H1Bs.
It’s so very simple to make your own homemade yogurt with no special ingredients. Let me know if anyone wants the recipe.
