Upstaters: Wegmans is a BIG GOP contributor (from DU)

I grew up with Wegmans. Yes, they are expensive in some items, but compared to the liberal Whole Foods, they are better priced and much, much, much better.

Bakery. Cheese dept. Meat dept.

And on and on.

The founder Danny Wegman was a great guy. He did "undercover boss" before it was even a term. If he found something at one of his stores that made it hard on his employees, he changed it.

I noticed the whiny rich actors/singers were missing at the Oroville Dam emergency.

When the Cumberland River over flowed and flooded Nashville, Paisley and many other Country and Western Stars held benefit concerts. Dolly held a big one for Pigeon Forge Fire plus donating millions.

Memphis had the same flooding problem, the black blues/jazz musicians sat on their butts and screamed for fed help.

The entire East side of the Millington, TN Navy Base flooded out, Exchange, Commissary, service bldgs, and housing, plus a lot of the city, we rolled up our sleeves and went to work. 1 lone FEMA bus. Military did some clean up, but called in the big buses of Serve Pro to do the major stuff.

I’ll stick with a malbec vintage that everybody I have over seems to like. Far before he was so controversial, I received a few of DT’s ties and they are the only ones I received complements on. I can’t find them either.

I see the DU thread was started by an Ithacan. Why am I not surprised? In any event I clicked on their supposed source and it was a 404 file not found.

I suppose those same Democrats would praise the Clinton Foundation to high heaven... despite the fact that it was never more than a thinly disguised money laundering scheme.
