I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of an independent California, Geoff Lewis said as he stood in a glass-walled conference room adorned with Californias grizzly-bear flag and a sign reading California is a nation, not a state.

...California is a nation, not a state.....
Actually an abomination.
CA has the largest economy of all 57 states, and if it was an independent country, it would have the 6th or 7th biggest economy in the world.
unfortunately, they are rich enough to be stupid politically. I think it will ultimately catch up with them, but for now, I think we have to just deal with them.
sorry, Geoff, but 5 million Republicans in California have a different opinion.
If California broke off from the USA, within 6 months the Mexicans would invade (not that they haven’t already) and claim at least up thru the central valley. The USA would not defend a hostile California. California would cease to exist except for the northern territory - which would be in constant conflict with both Oregon from the north, seeking to expand influence, and Mexico coming up from the south. The citizenry would live in armed conflict for decades and most would lose their homes and livelihoods. It’s a lose-lose situation. Even a child could figure it out.
well, you put up your snowflake army, and we’ll put up ours, and we’ll just see how that plays out.
its always different when they do something they crucify their enemies for.
That is interesting. I noticed a very similar thing when I was trying to get a handle on what percentage of murders were committed by illegal aliens.

I think first we should hold a bet, does the state split into 6 pieces 3 of which would be Republican or leave as a whole.
I have the feeling the 6 state split would win in a landslide with Central, South California and Jefferson being freed from the tyranny of Sacramento and the two coastal cities.
...If Free Republic headquarters could be like the Vatican
Stop allowing California ID to be considered valid US ID on airplanes, etc.
OK, California you are separate. Live with it.
CA has gone full rogue and is de facto going it alone. Time to build a wall around it
And maybe they can get by without Washington state’s hydroelectricity.
We need to break it up in 3 states north central and south.
Central being LA to San Fran.
Sorry, this is the first time I’ve seen your link. Um, yes, there seems to be a common thread throughout the most wanted list! I was getting a kick out of the shirtless mugshot and then was really surprised when there was another...and another...and another! I think my favorite names overall were Dong, whose picture was followed immediately by Bong (who stood out in a suit), and later on...Norbert.
Looks like some of those guys have been on the most-wanted list for a very long time, judging by the ages of the photos. Why in the world would anyone want to welcome more of the same to our country? It’s mind boggling.
Hell...cut’ m the f*** loose. No bail outs, no “foreign aid”, they pay for the California portion of the wall.
Oh Please, California! Follow the Fringe! Follow your bliss!
Because after you declare your independence, it will provide all the legal basis needed for sending in an army to smack all your progressives and illegals down hard, then rounding them up, and imprisoning or deporting them.
Please just do it!
The media is beating this like a drum.
If this was a Conservative effort to get desalinization going big-time, there wouldn’t be one article written on it.
If Democrats were driving it, there would be dozens of articles on it.
These guys speak with one voice, or not at all.
Clear out the illegals, don’t bail out debt and then after it fails see hiw they vote
3 states?
SIX US Senators? No way,Jose.
A scorched earth policy from the beginning in the civil war to follow. The cities, not the farmland. Teach them that they aren’t a third world country and won’t be allowed to become one
yep
