SACRAMENTO — Republican legislators are decrying what they call a free-speech violation after Sen. Janet Nguyen, an Orange County Republican, was forcibly removed from the Senate floor Thursday morning during an attempt to criticize the late California Sen. Tom Hayden.

The unusual scene, captured on video, shows the Vietnamese-American lawmaker being led from the floor by Capitol security officers.

Nguyen, who fled communist Vietnam with her family and arrived in the U.S. in the early 1980s when she was a young child, is critical of Hayden’s anti-Vietnam War activism.

Well, she pushed it and likely knew the outcome if a colleague called a point of order, which happened.

Sue was removed with cause but, her cause was just.

The Vietnamese generally tell thing like it is or most often say nothing when they disagree instead of saying with a straight face the contrary of what they think, like POS lying Paul Ryan.
That doesn’t make “good” politicians.

“By 1952, many Americans were convinced that communist agents and supporters were actively at work within the United States, and that their forces permeated every aspect of American life”

AND, those Americans were ABSOLUTELY, 100% CORRECT!!!!!! It has become exponentially WORSE SINCE THEN!!!!!

How queer that History.com’s brief does not mention that Alger Hiss’ ties to Communist espionage were confirmed decades later (as were other allegations of Soviet alliance in the State Department).

Senator Hitlery Clinton shouted on the floor of the Senate in February 2002 about how Bush KNEW in advance about the 9-11 attack.

Democrats are hypocrites.

1. I do not see why her mic was simply cut off before the acting chair of the senate even voiced that she was out of order— this seems less like a rule invoked and more like a planned ambush or a hijack of the senate floor by Senate staffers in collusion with unknown Democrat Senators.

2. I did not hear her disparage a former senate colleague. I only heard her refer to the former senate colleague. She seemed to refer to him in a respectful manner. What is the precise definition of disrespect?

3. The senate should investigate and punish those responsible for the mic cutoff and the decision to remove her by force.

4. The senator should be given a chance to speak and complete her speech.

5. if she is not given the chance to complete her speech on the Calif. senate floor, then trump should invite her to the WH to speak directly to the american people in a WH press conference. Because— freedom of speech! Take that California!

Tyranny! I do hope CA can succeed. Just think of what a better world this would be without that kind of intolerance and injustice.
