You got to pay the sheriff of Nottingham if you wish to go through the king’s forest, it is how these petty criminal bureaucrats see their fiefdoms.

What a ridiculously complex system. The MTA sends a stamped letter to collect a $3 toll and depends on the USPS both ways, otherwise, they just throw on a fine that is insanely high.

I wonder how Manno voted when the system was proposed.

I also wonder if the ICC and the silly express lanes on I-95 in Baltimore County are pulling in the expected level of revenue. I highly doubt it.

There is such toll road in the Raleigh Durham area. I got on it not knowing what it was nor how it worked.

A photo was made of my license plate and many weeks later I got a toll bill for $0.43. The postage was $0. 41 for the bill and my return of the payment charged to my mastercard.

This Manno clown, who worked for the infamously lying fool Sheila Jackson Lee, tells us a "penalty... was not intended to be punitive."

Is there no limit to the ignorance and/or dishonesty of these Democrats?

What’s really pathetic is when this “public” infrastructure is paid for with tax money, underwritten with municipal bonds.. and owned by foreigners.

Commerce between master and slave is ______?

On 95 south here in Va, I’ve seen it as much as $30 just to go 10-15 miles, when the main lines are backed up....like Holiday travel.

Having "lived" in monkey county maryland for 30+ years before escaping the LIB lunacy there, I can attest that this situation is merely the tip of the iceberg. maryland is truly THE Freak state. It is hopeless there. Escape while you can.

“I don’t want to minimize the pain that certain customers have gone through, but running the numbers only .001% wound up in a circumstance” like this, said Kevin Reigrut, MDTA’s new executive director. He said 99.3% of Maryland toll customers are paying their tolls without incident.

So, such a small percentage of people affected does not warrant a change in the law?

Got it.

Wait, does that remind me of something?

Be prepared for more toll roads. Trump’s infrastructure program provides tax credits for public private partnerships (P3s). The private sector provides the financing and construction in return for a revenue stream down the road.

These are the temporary toll booths, right, because tolls were always meant as temporary fixes?
