20 Dems voted for Mr. Ross? Anyone got a list of them?

Filled with wonder as to why the article expounded the fact BO’Bs Commerce Secretary would have the globes to allude to the fact Wilbur would be an asset in this position. Why exactly was this included? Does it signify, subtlety, horse heads in bed?

Another cabinet member approved.

‘Bout time.

I am a Yuge Trump supporter but Ross is a completely unethical scumbag of the highest order and should never have been considered for a cabinet position.

The Senate later voted 67-31 to move forward on the nomination of Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., to lead the Interior Department.

It seems like Zinke has really been "under the radar" since mid-December. I gather he's not in favor of FedGov selling off lots of Federal lands, or returning them to the States, but DOES favor increased usage (drilling, mining, lumber harvest, etc.)?

I’m not sure whether Commerce is the department which will handle global trade?

I think so, but I am not sure.

That is where Trump NEEDS a pro-American hardnose guy who will go fullspeed America-first.

Both of our political parties, all of our leaders, everyone, has been selling us out for over one entire generation, to China and to the world.

Time for that to change.

What is your beef with this guy?

Is he not sufficiently pro-American, or is the opposite point what you are making?

Trump seems to be for America first.

He seems to be the FIRST president since Reagan (that was a long, long, long time ago now) who is not for selling out America.

EVERYONE ELSE has been for selling out America.

If this new guy is pro-American, we need him.

We need that. Big time.

“Ross isn’t exactly a turnaround artist, but... restructuring bankrupt companies... i.e. saving them from dissolution.”

He knows intimately what works to make businesses succeed.

I watched some of his confirmation hearings, and was impressed - he knows his stuff down cold. No matter what obscure detail of a Senator’s pet project he was asked about, it was clear that he knew more about it than the Senator did. He had them eating out of his hand.

"Do you see something wrong with this picture? As you stated, we desperately need term limits."

Inhofe is a good guy, Roberts and Grassley maybe on a given day, the rest of the Senate as you noted is way beyond our been their too long expiration date. Term Limits? No repeal the 17th.....

Ross is a junk debt buyer... He uses the legal system in illegal and unethical ways to attack people that he knows to be no longer responsible for the debts that he sues people over.

Think about that and KNOW that it’s true...

He buys the names and account numbers for millions of bank card accounts THAT HAVE BEEN CHARGED OFF and have a valuation of $0... he typically pays about 3% of the charged off balance for these names... the seller of these names has already taken a tax credit for the loss against earnings... ROSS then sues the people WHO HAVE NO CONTRACT WITH HIM AND WITH HIM NO LEGAL STANDING WAS CONFERRED BY THE SELLER as if he was the harmed party...

HE IS NOTHING BUT A THIEF ATTACKING AMERICANS WHO ARE VULNERABLE TO AN ATTACK IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM because they have no money to pay their bills let alone hire legal counsel.

You put this SCUMBAG on a pedestal?

Don’t get me started about his role in the “foreclosure crisis” and the illegalities perpetrated by his company AHMSI.

Ross created AHMSI as a vehicle to get into the “mortgage servicing” game ... You must understand that the “foreclosure crisis” was really a pre-planned event where the banks converted investor funds into “proprietary trading profits” for themselves as they set up sham organizations to paper over the lack of actual transactions and transfers... and disconnect the investors from the borrowers and make everything “bankruptcy remote” ... The servicers game is to game the borrowers into default and run up enormous fees and charges to reduce the amount owed to the “lender” so that they can absorb the majority of any takings in a foreclosure.

I will use as an example a trust that is a great example... “Option One Mortgage Loan Trust 2007-FXD2”..

First off it is a common law trust that exists only on SEC docs but was never actually formed or funded..

As it was never funded it never bought the notes it “holds” ... even if it did ... the notes are void because they fraudulently name “Option One” as the lender and not the REAL LENDER “Bank of America” (see 11 cv 10549 US District Court Central District California Los Angeles)

So .. the “trust” does not own anything and is in violation of it’s own rules (the PSA).

This “trust” busted 90 days after closing due to fraud underwriting of notes by BofA .. 7% of the borrowers didn’t make payment #1..

BofA collected 100% on the insurance though!! all borrowers debts paid in full!

BofA (pretending to be Option One) , sold the “servicing rights” to the notes to AHMSI on the last day of April 2008 who intended AND DID profit everytime someone sold a house (paid off the note .. AGAIN.. by retaining all of the money) or they foreclosed (remember the notes is paid in full) when they sold the property...

He is collecting money from people who owe NOTHING ... he is foreclosing on people whose notes are paid in full...

ROSS joined the board of OCWEN ,, and gave them the remnants of this and other trusts in return for a $60M+ golden parachute..

He didn’t invent the scam but he piggybacked on it hardcore... His blatant violations of the law that number in the millions of instances in pursuing debt that he has no right to claim (”standing”) was one of the things that eroded the system to the point where the housing bubble scam of 1998-2008 could happen.

I just turned 74 and my kids said I'm now close to 75!

Yes...time past for TERM LIMITS...Look how the Republicans hide the poor dementia soul of Tad Cochran, and pull him out of hiding for votes...that is truly disgusting to me...He needs to resign and be replaced...sorta like the dem’s did with old Robert Byrd... so both sides need replaced .

“I just turned 74 and my kids said I’m now close to 75!”

Well, I’m 6 months into being 76, so I guess that makes me “close to 77!”

It’s now the GOPe’s turn in the old age survivors box. Up until the last couple of elections, the RATs were the “old folks,” but they’ve either been replaced or died off. So now it’s time to RIF the GOP old folks in the Senate. The idea that 20% of the Senate accounts for nearly 50% of the time served in office, is a travesty. It’s one thing to be in your seventies, even eighties, but to be a Senator implies al lot more grey matter than a lot of people have in those age brackets. And beyond that, they positions weren’t designed to be the lifetime deals we’ve allowed them to become. No one in either House of Congress should be allowed to “serve” double digit years collectively there.

TOTALLY AGREE...

As we age we loose the energy levels and we become slower, takes us longer to get chores done...and yep if your 6 months from 77, consider yourself...77... (wink~wink)

lol ,,,my hubby of 56 years is turning 79 in June...and I told him...WOW YOUR ONLY A YEAR FROM 80...HE LAUGHS says it's only a number!!! life has been good, but we are getting really old...

John McCain is 81 in Aug. and he too needs to step aside..his grey matter is gone...and I believe he is hiding a lot of lies from the American people. YES We do need term limits..
