White House Pushes Back on Issa: A Special Prosecutor For What?
townhall.com ^ | 2/27/17 | Katie Pavlich

Monday the White House hit back on that assertion, saying months of media reports have turned up nothing substantial and therefore an outside investigation in unnecessary.

"A special prosecutor for what? We have now for six months seen story after story about unnamed sources syaing the same thing over and over again and nothing's come of it," Spicer said. "At what point, you have to ask yourself 'what are you investigating?'"

"If there's nothing further to investigate, what are you asking people to investigate?" Spicer continued. "At some point you have to ask, what are you looking for?...How many people have to say there's nothing there before you realize there's nothing there

Spicer has a point. At sometime, someone, somewhere is going to have to make a creditable accusation with at least some preliminary evidence ..... or shut up about their “investigation”.

Because the politicians aren’t wasting enough of the taxpayers’ dollars, that’s why. The whole Rooski fiasco is a snowflake myth. Get over it.

They know nothing will be turned up - hoping to make hay out of "he was under investigation for blah blah blah and while nothing was turned up, some still have serious concerns".

Kind of pathetic that it is all they have left, but still pursue it.

Losers are what losers do...

Issa is an Arab assclown who needs to be pushed as far away from influence as possible, along with the other Arab anti-Trumper, Justin Amash.

Remember how the left and right attacked Trump for saying that he’d have to look at the results before saying that he would accept the election results, and three months later these same people on the right and left are calling for an investigation over Trump’s win!

and then you can’t repeal/replace Obamacare or get the Tax Cuts done, or get a Judge confirmed because everybody has to spend time on their investigative sub-committee.
Then yea, oh he was investigated becomes the narrative. Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt

Issa had boatloads of things to investigate about Obama; I think he did do a little, always covered it up. It looks like some Republicans are playing tag team; after what Issa called for dies down, another Republican, burdened down with concern and care, will come out with the same thing, thereby keeping it on the front burner. Every day on the news I hear about “Trump ties to Russia” over and over. I watched the first few minutes of the Today show and I think they hit that meme about three times in five minutes.

Fairly soon, it will be Senator Linda Graham’s turn to speak up again.

Issa is a clown. I remember all his huff and puff big talk about nailing hillary or obama or whatever his big thing of the day was. NOTHING came of any of it. Big talk, never any results.

Issa’s district went Clinton if I recall correctly. If he’s pandering to Dems, he would be wise to consider how he will be driving away Republicans.

Hope the GOP leadership has the balls to pull this man off of committees, lose funding, etc. You would NEVER see Democrap Congresscritters treat their President in this manner (certainly didn’t happen in the last 8 years!).

Issa let the IRS ATrocity go because of Boehner,
McCAin and Schumer.

===> Issa should be prosecuted.

A Special Prosecutor needs to investigate issa. For instance, why has he accomplished nothing for many years except expelling rancid hot air?

Welcome to Bush, the sequel. The libs spent eight years while Bush was in office, and, at least, half of Obama’s terms to try to catch Bush at something, anything. And if the press hadn’t lied right through their teeth, they wouldn’t have gotten anything on him either. And what they got was BS.

But for Trump, from the article from Townhall,:

“But the American people are beginning to understand that Putin murders his enemies.”

And the Clintons don’t?

“what are you looking for?”

Anything they think will stick when they throw it at the wall. See the next one.

“we can’t just go on a witch hunt against Americans because they appear in a news story somewhere.”

Yes they can as the media will sell the public that there is something there even though they can’t tell what it is, and who says it is. And you can be absolutely assured they would if they could. But considering they can’t even produce a name of who has anything, they can’t as it doesn’t exist. But the hard sell continues. Kind of like the pet rock. “Buy this rock, it’s special!!!!!” And an idiot will.

I suspect deep state traitors in the NSA have something tying someone in Trump’s team to someone in Russia, but they want a special prosecutor in order to get to the same evidence a different way, so as not to expose that they got it by abusing the tools of the Surveillance State.
