Judge Parker returns! Hope it was Rooster Cogburn who nailed them all.
Should read “Each of these prisoners is a person who committed a crime so heinous that the courts have repeatedly decided they are no longer fit to live and must pay with their lives.”
” a looming expiration date for a drug used by the state for lethal injections. “
Why not just use the drugs used for “medically-assisted suicide”. We’re told that it’s a pleasant way to go.
Its likely to lead to botched executions.
They put hundreds of obstacles in the way and then claim the rush will lead to botched executions. If so, the ACLU is responsible.
As for being “botched”, if they end up dead, it was not botched.
They lived anywhere from 18 to 28 years longer than their victims.
But every one of these eight men makes for a compelling case to support it.
>>Each of these prisoners is a person with rights that have to be honored, and each execution is a process that needs to be planned and handled with care and close attention to detail,<<
And that is has occurred over the last YEARS! This bufoon makes it sound like they were found guilty last month and then rushed to the gallows.
In fact they have had God knows how many appeals over God knows how many years or decades.

I have a hunch, though, that there will by a delay/stay in the executions, whether by the governor, or some legal technicality of some kind.
Eight executions in 10 days is going to trigger some real attention, that's for sure.
7.62X39MM work just fine. Ask the Chinese. And they are cheaper by far...
I thought the headline was that they were executing them in space.
It would be interesting but, bullets are cheap and rope is re-usable.
