President Trump "Receptive" To Conservative Concerns Over GOP Healthcare Bill
CBN news ^ | 03/09/2017

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint says after meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, he believes the president seems very serious when it comes to listening to concerns from conservatives over the new GOP healthcare bill. “He seemed a lot more receptive than the word we had gotten from the House that this was the bill, take it or leave it,” DeMint tells us. DeMint spoke with me Thursday afternoon in DC.

I knew he would and I know he will...

I may have sounded critical of the President earlier, but I really do have a great deal of faith in him.

I hope so.

Smarmy Ryan seems so sure that he has Trump's full support on this.

The serious healthcare discussions aside I like the fact the president is using his desk as a work desk. Not piling it with personal mementos like presidents usually do. Of course in Trump’s case if he did that the Oval Office would be covered from the roof to the floor with his life’s mementos, and he’s lived an extraordinary life already!

Trump is fully aware he has a split in the Republican party over healthcare. He wants a united team so he’s not going to chastise anyone publicly, but he knows the current Ryan bill would lose in a House vote with many Republicans joining all of the Democrats.

"Let’s get the free market back into health care, it is not perfect but it is 1000 percent better than letting some faceless WashingtonDC bureaucrappy decide whether you get treated or buried"

The semi-free market medical system that we had prior to kenyancare was the best system in the world. It was a long way from free-market, the government legislated the intrastate restriction on insurance, and of course medicare and medicade, but we still had great hospitals and doctors. That system was orders of magnitude better than kenyancare.

From what I've heard, this new system is not much different from obama's. It is DOA, I believe.

Thanks Donald. The word repeal means something. We the people have demanded, are demanding, repeal. Then if must be, write a new law and incorporate select sections of ACA. The new law cannot violate USConstitution, like the current one does, coerced Supreme Roberts, not withstanding. Contrary to common believes, we/I can read USConstitution. If you DCians could, they could follow it and thereby not be an _enemy_ of it.

Be sure to never use sections which call me (USAians) dhimmitude (a Moslem term)

Do not exempt Moslems

Do not exempt congressmen or any government employee or representative

Do I really have to spell out such completely _obvious_ debauchery within ACA, DC representatives?

Receptive?

He should be hollering (or in his case tweeting) at the top of his lungs ordering Mike Pence to get on the Senate floor and kick some ass, to line out McTurtle and the rest to oppose what is coming from the House.

Receptive, BS.......

The powder of any ‘hot’ pepper will clear your eye. It stings for a short while

Yes that is what I use when I get eye irritations.

I grow Chinese hot peppers. The ones that start off purple then the final color is red. Dry them and grind them up into a fine powder for several remedies. Works on infections and staph as well.

demands to repeal and replace "Obamacare"

Who said anything about "replace". Let the free market handle our insurance needs. JUST REPEAL IT.

Get the FERAL Government out of our bedroom, our living room and our doctors office. PERIOD

We cannot be allowed to be co-opted or neutralized. Our number one mission rightly is to scrap this piece of crap fascist legislation foisted on us by Obongo, and the issue is not hostage to any Republican leader, no matter how high in our government nor popular within our own ranks nor within FR. see tagline

A black Sichuan (Szechwan) pepper which goes on Mabo Tofu is also good for a lot of ailments.

There is not a single section or feature of Obamacare I want the government to use in the future.

You can’t just jerk medical coverage out from under those who are currently covered. That would leave millions without coverage.

BS. Coverage is not healthcare. If you're paying a quarter of your income every month to a crony company and have a high deductible, you still can't afford to see a doctor, let alone afford treatment for something more serious.

If you want healthcare bring back the free market. Pay out of pocket for routine issues and don't involve insurance at all. Buy yourself a plan for catastrophes only.

The biggest problem is that almost everyone on the Republican side - including President Trump, bigly - has agreed to coverage of preexisting conditions.

Once you do that, you have taken a stand in favor of government healthcare which is eventually going to produce some form of Obamacare, or single payer.

Everybody needs to remember and understand this is a bill that congress believes it can get through the budget reconciliation process.

I remember something former TX Sen. Phil Grams’ said after he led the charge against Hillarycare back in the 1990s:

“There is no problem that cannot be solved by the free market.”
>

That’s great. When’s the last time anyone heard the same SINCE?

The ‘leadership’ doesn’t care about the Constitution or Free Market (unless it’s election\sound-bite time). They did, the same bill they used during Zero’s term would be on its way to the Oval Office now; as we all suspected, it was election fodder, a ruse.
