I am always a bit disappointed when a Việt gets in trouble with the law. They don't as much as other groups. But then this fellow is a Democrat, and for a Vietnamese that's a sign of an unbalanced mind. They tend to be wary of government promises and government taking care of you.

I knew a Vietnamese girl who was one of the ‘boat people’. She escaped at the age of 5, along with her father and 7 older sibs. When I met her, she was just entering a residency program in Radiology. Among her sibs were engineers, an orthopedist, a couple of research scientists and a pharmacist. All very successful.
