So what does this mean for today’s ruling?
Congress is slow rolling hearings and a vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch. The Supreme Court is now ineffective in aiding President Trump, and that is the way they want it.
Now that is surprising. I didn't think there were any in the 9th that were not leftist activists.
Guess they didn’t like being called out in a Rally that President Trump had today, especially when he enlightened every one there and watching the Rally as to what the actual law says...

This reads like a dissenting opinion from the earlier opinion. If so, it has no effect on today’s decision.
That don’t sound like a ruling, just his opinion.
I’m confused... did he overturn his colleague’s ruling, or is he just stating the truth for the record.

What happened to the original request for a meeting of the full 9th circuit panel?
JUST ONE TIME I’d like to see The President ACTUALLY recognize that this Judge has no jurisdiction; that the plaintiff had no standing, that the resulting ruling is null and void — legal vaporware, essentially — CALL THE JUDGE OUT ON IT, RAM IT BACK UP HIS ASS, and move forward no matter what.
Essentially tell The Court, “YOU’RE FULL OF IT! AND YOU CAN TALK BUT YOU CAN MAKE IT STICK, ‘CUZ YOU AIN’T GOT JACK $#!+ UNLESS YOU PERSONALLY CRAP IT INTO YOUR OWN HAND!”
JUST ONE TIME before I die, I’d like to see a loose cannon judge smacked down by a President — or even a Congress, though that requires far too many people to get their $#!+ together all at once — who knows he has the full force and fury of The Law on his side.

To establish standing to bring the suit in Federal Court, the Hawaii state AG used the argument that Hawaii state tourism would be impacted by the executive order and thus the state has standing to bring the suit.
Made me conjure up images of of a guy with a beard wearing a suicide snorkel.
Duh. Maybe there is at least one Federal judge who has the smallest clue about actual USA law.

I’m just now seeing this and haven’t read through the thread but the report writes that this judge “says”, not that he ‘ruled’.
