Publix has been doing this for years. Usually covered in just one check out aisle for the poor, sensitive souls out there.

Someone complaining doesn't hold water any more than their complaints hold water at all the Federal offices that have or will have a picture of him prominently displayed.

Publix is a great grocery chain, well-managed with Conservative principles and no unions. Good to its employees, who provide great service to their customers. Publix is always closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter so employees can be with their families, and they advertise it as a plus. Our local stores always cover trashier tabloids for sake of decency, so I doubt it has anything to do with Trump on the current cover.

Yes, the Jenkins family is conservative. Long time Boy Scout underwriter and supporter in FL and nationally. No way would they direct this be done— they just wouldn’t stock the item. So this has to be a store manager decision, and can be reversed.

I really like Publix also.... but this was the only magazine covered and all of the NE were covered. Just struck me strange .... there were some other quite trashy magazine covers on full display.
The Publix family owned grocery chain is THE gold standard for quality grocery store design and product delivery. You can look this up. Executives and consultants come from all over the world to study the Publix system, which includes profit sharing for all employees and bonus stock/pay for performance. Hence they are non-Union. Kroger hates them, and sends their union employees to harass the company in areas where they have moved in and taking market share. It’s that bad from crappier grocery store. Publix Grocery is an American success story.

Whenever there’s a tabloid cover in the check out that has a headline that is sure to piss off a lib I take the entire stack out and distribute them evenly in every rack.

here in St Augustine they are always on display. Maybe this is a liberal turd , or turds covering them up. I know saw one getting all magazines , and hiding them . yes I did call the woman out and changed them for all to see.
