White House signals it can live without border wall funds © Getty Images The White House indicated Wednesday that President Trump could go along with a government funding bill that does not include money to begin building his proposed wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Senate Republicans are not planning on including the funds in a measure to keep the government funded beyond the end of April.

That is what Mexico does to illegals caught in Mexico.

Plus they beat them up. Put them on crappy buses and drive them back deep into central america, and tell them if they ever come back they will kill them.

I’m sure there’s money laying around for the contracting process, and that won’t be done for a while I believe.

They had a simple effective way of funding WW2 beyond what stingy congress would approiate. It's called WAR BONDS, WHY NOT WALL BONDS? I'd buy a few so would many conservatives and crime victims of illegals. A few tax breaks for the companies you got a plan that will build the Wall and create good paying jobs.

It was not a small amount either, it’s sitting in some unused fund.

As I have been saying all along grab all the BILLIONS being sent to relatives in Mexico which are mostly non taxed ill gotten gains by invading alien criminal insurgent usurpers and there will be enough money to pay for the wall, and it WILL be paid by Mexico via the method described.

Money sent to Mexico from the USA is their #1 source of income.

That’s why the elites (on both sides of the border) fight it so hard.

After all, the many billionaires and millionaires in Mexico need to use their natural resources to keep them rich and the people repressed.

Illegal invading Mexicans need to march (millions and millions of them) enmass back to Mexico and take their country back instead of being lazy and living here suckling on the gov teat so they can support their own country’s graft and corruption.

Wall bonds would be great.

I’m in for 10k today. Even at 0.5% yield.

Don’t know why no one wants to pitch the idea. I personally think it’s a great idea, good way to put some money away for grands or young children’s college money. The original ones earned 2.9% over 10 yrs. Considering what even a CD interest rate is, that would top it. Last CD I owned I cashed out when interest rates dropped to .05% when GWB left office.

I then invested what I had in long term annuities. Paid better. They are nearing maturity now. The 1 IRA has to be rolled over, as I’m not old enough to collect yet, another 4 yrs. Rest should be able just to continue them on. Have to ask my investment guy next meeting. He’s already drawing off his IRA, I’m not rich by no means, but will live half way comfortable should my husband pass, we have the house paid for in less than 6 months. Then will think about a new mid size van, we have an Equinox now, we like it, might just up grade to a newer one, that is more senior friendly with the bells and whistles of side mirror warning, back up camera, park assist.

Even with back up camera the idiots who walk through parking lots, even with no cell glued to their ear, never look for break lights, nor do cars.
