The House Intelligence Committee's top Democrat confirmed Friday evening that he was "presented" the same information at the White House that was given to the panel's chairman last week.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said he viewed materials at the White House with his staff director that were presented as "precisely the same materials" given to Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) last week.
"While I cannot discuss the content of the documents, if the White House had any concern over these materials, they should have been shared with the full committees in the first place as a part of our ordinary oversight responsibilities," Schiff said in a statement.
"Nothing I could see today warranted a departure from the normal review procedures, and these materials should now be provided to the full membership of both committees," he said.

When the facts are on your side, argue the facts.
When they aren’t, argue the process.
Any speculation on why they don’t want the committee to see them? Does it implicate some people on the committee or in Congress and they want to control the leaks?
Talk about process, completely ignore substance.
FU Schiff.
Read between the lines.
They work on some DNC talking points on how Trump gave the documents to Russia to leak or its a good thing the documents were leaked because Trump & Putin are going to take over the world.
You will know the spin soon, because it will be parroted by all the MSM.
Who died and left Schiff boss?
The material viewed by schifty must not have pleased him.
I agree.
How come no one is calling for Schiff to recuse himself like they have for Nunes, since Schiff saw the same materials Nunes did at the same time and same place?
Friday evening. Nice timing Schiff. But it’s not going to work.
Now can he go back to the committee and tell what was in the documents? Even a tiny piece?
So now, using Democrat logic, Schiff should recuse himself. Except he himself is a Democrat, so never mind.
The way I heard it is: "If you have the facts, you pound the facts. If you have the law,you pound the law.If you have neither, you pound the prosecution".
Bingo.
So you and the committee could hide the info? Sorry, Nunes did the right thing in telling the US first...now you actually have to do something about it.
What he's not saying any longer is that the President should not have been privy first.
From what I have read, the committee does not have a location in which the docs can be viewed or stored.
Also, carping about needing wider dissemination allows ignoring the content.
