Vaccine fears are on display today in Washington, D.C. A group called Revolution for Truth is leading an anti-vaccine event that includes a rally outside the National Press Club and talks by at least 15 speakers. The day will culminate with a speech by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an outspoken opponent to vaccines and founder of the World Mercury Project. The stated purpose of the event is to protest the biased media coverage, exploitation by the pharmaceutical industry and government protection that, the group says, perpetuate the use of what it says are dangerous inoculations.

Several dozen people gathered outside the National Press Club this morning, protecting protest signs with umbrellas. “Safety before profit,” said one sign. “Children I love suffer serious vaccine injuries,” said another. “Our children are not lab rats,” read yet another. Rally leaders with a megaphone led chants of “CNN, tell the truth! CDC, tell the truth! No vaccine mandates! No more lies!”

Many signs and chants called for a government subpoena of William Thompson, a psychologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Thompson was part of the CDC research team that investigated whether thimerosal-containing vaccines were linked to an increased incidence of autism. Following an interview by Andrew Wakefield, the British doctor known for his role in fueling the widely embraced belief that vaccines cause autism, Thompson became suspected of omitting data linking vaccines and autism in black children from the published CDC study.

Meanwhile, on a rain-soaked sidewalk outside the National Press Club, one sign summarized the conspiracy that many anti-vaccine protesters believe is behind the continued administration of vaccines to children: “Med-Pharma compensates government that mandates; doctor vaccinates; child deteriorates; Congress obfuscates. Subpoena Dr. Thompson! #CDCWhistleblower.”

Flu vaccines are about 60-70% effective. Not all viruses are the same. The flu virus mutates so rapidly it is hard to keep up with the latest strains since this virus jumps the species barrier so readily. Try not to get taken in by the Luddites. Snake oil has been selling for centuries and there is always a market for it.

In which case, a double blind study with a large enough sample size should clearly reveal that. Trouble is, they don't study that simple result.

Take, for example, this study:

You will note that they didn't have a control group (a group that received neither the placebo nor one of the vaccines). So how the hell can they say it's a valid study?

Next, where's the study showing the effect of living healthy (actually getting the right number of antioxidant vitamins, proper mineral balance, lifestyle choices) versus taking a vaccine? I've NEVER seen such a study. With or without a control group.

Bottom line is that I want to see independent studies. I'm not condemning this stuff out-of-hand, but there seem to be too many hands in too many pockets and too much fishiness.

Mark, it’s an ethical issue when it comes to using human subjects. Are you going to volunteer? The study would also involve exposing all participants to an infectious dose of the specific strain of flu virus. By the way, I didn’t see you mention what strain of flu? How bout the 1918 flu strain that killed 60 million people.

Vaccine trials have been conducted with negative controls in animal models by the hundreds if not thousands. Search the literature for yourself. What is your training?

Well, when I and millions of other kids were growing up in the '50's, polio was real and devastating. We were lined up by the thousands and vaccinated.

Guess what! Polio, the scourge of children and young adults was wiped out, that is, until we allowed open borders and unvaccinated people in.

In my day, what is now being called autism was being 'spacey'. Most of the kids I knew grew out of it.

I have an adventure to go on that involves getting some sunshine and a ride in the Arizona back country. Some of my fellow freepers will probably be able to provide some of the peer reviewed papers that are now receiving attention since we have a new President that is actually willing to acknowledge there is a problem with vaccines.

All I have to add is don’t blindly follow recommendations made by a corrupt government and doctors who are unwilling to study, research and “first do no harm.” Don’t wait until your child or your grandchild becomes one of the statistics, wake up now and realize that the immunizations we were given as children are not the same as the ones being given now.

If you follow the current (2017) CDC Childhood Immunization Schedule, your children will receive over 36 vaccines by the time they are 6 years of age. The kind of enteroviruses (there could be very many of them, not sure there is even a finite number) which COULD have the sequela of losing control of your limbs will never be fully prevented. There is one going around now. “Polio” was a name given to one known one.

Most people who got that enterovirus didn’t even know they were sick. They may have had an evening or a couple days not feeling so well. Or nothing they noticed.

Why did some people go on to get the full debilitation, and some not? We don’t know but there is some evidence that benign deficient in vitamin D MIGHT contribute.

There is only a vaccination for that one well known enterovirus. It is not very possible to vaccinate against them all. The enterovirus causing “polio like” paralysis today has no such vaccine.

Having taken a cursory glimpse into epigenetics.. I would say hold the stakes and tar for now. We now know genes are heavily influenced by environment, in fact, turning off and on over our lives.. mutating. There could be any number of reasons.. I say autism started less than two generations after herding children by the billions into institutionalizeddrugs education is just as likely to be a suspect. Institutionalizing people changes them, dramatically. If you have biochem changes, then hormonal changes, then epegenesis? What a crazy cycle.
Could just be our genetic code has a limited life span before denigrating into the blob, zombies... ok, so that is my winky, wink theory.

Infants do not have an immune system. They are gaining one through their skin on skin, drinking her milk connects to their mother (not guaranteed at all in today’s daycare, formula fed babies). Connection to the sun with their naked bodies also plays a part, again, not happening much these days (babies need 1000 in vitamin d in a drop a day).

What we now know about the gut bacteria population is so amazing. Which bugs each person has populating their gut makes the difference for that person between health and illness.

Could this be why one baby is neurologically destroyed for life, and the other appears to have no harmful effects after a neurotoxic bath of ingredients is injected into his bloodstream? (Of course, that second baby cold end up with Parkinson’s at 70, possibly because of cumulative neurotoxins, began with that antenatal assault.)

We don’t test babies’ gut biomes before we inject them. That might help decide who could handle vaccines and who couldn’t. We are not acting in accordance with science. It’s like asking a chef to cook in a strange kitchen in the dark. Or your surgeon to do your surgery blind. What is going on now is NOT SCIENCE.

Don’t let the white coats and government agencies fool you.

No infant should be vaccinated before age one. And all should have their bacterial biomes tested first. All should be on a specific probiotic diet before a vaccine. Vaccines should be given singly. Vaccines should LOSE the adjuvants, metals, and preservatives currently used. They would necessitate a week long forces for each of the dozens given. That would be scientific, safe, and guanratee health of the child.

Under a year, babies should be at home with one loving care person most of the time, and fed according to biology as close as possible.

Now,THAT would be using the scientific method as well as the knowledge we have gained up to 2017.

That's all true and vaccines are far more dangerous than the threat of most diseases they prevent. The reason they are required by policy and by law is herd immunity. If you decline vaccination for your child you avoid around a 1 in 100,000 chance of serious injury. You also avoid a 4 to 20 parts per billion level of mercury in their blood (separate from the serious injury stats). You only add a 1 in 1,000,000 or as low as 1 in 10,000,000 risk of disease.

OTOH if enough people decline vaccination the risk of disease goes way up, far higher than the risk of vaccine injury. IOW, you are taking a higher risk with vaccination but doing it as a public service.
