Time, Nat Geo push 'astonishingly perverse covers'
WND ^ | 04/09/2017 | Paul Bremmer

'What kind of journalist can glorify the channeling of innocent children into a lifetime of misery?'

“Why Amnesty Makes Sense” reads the cover of a June 2007 issue of Time magazine, teasing an immigration story inside. “Is Your Baby Racist?” asks a 2009 Newsweek cover. And “Gender Revolution” blares a January 2017 National Geographic cover featuring a “transgender child.”

These three magazine covers, and many others like them, have something in common: They all reflect the increasingly irrational “progressive” worldview, according to journalist and best-selling author David Kupelian.

..

Alex Newman, an international journalist and educator, attempted to explain what is going on in the minds of these editors. In his view, they have sold out both their morals and their country for the sake of advancing a dark agenda.

Time is irrelevent. even our local store, which has some 200 different publications on sale, does not carry Time.Time isn’t even included anymore in the traditional Old Mags Piles at our doctors or dentist.

People still do look at National Geo, however, if only in hopes of finding their traditional naked natives picture stories in there. But nobody is gonna read political articles in National Geo.

not much to worry about, imho

These magazines are run by liberals. They are using their publications to advocate for liberal positions. That’s what seems to be going on here. Rather than any dispassionate analysis of the issues being probed, the articles are clearly biased.

I don’t get how we have transgender children. Its one thing to talk about gender dysphoria in adults, who have gone through puberty. But to take prepubescent children and declare they are a girl trapped in a boys body and all that, is in my opinion, wrong and child abuse.

The only reason I do, is because I run into them here.

I never see them on a rack or in doctor’s offices.

I prefer it that way, now more than eva!

I’ve seen a few Time magazines recently. They are much thinner than they used to be. And they appear to be “dumbed down”, with more graphs and pictures , and less in the way of actual written paragraphs. The writing seems to be at about a 5th grade level. I guess they don’t want to use big words or lengthy sentences, lest they confuse their readers.... .

The Media and Entertainment industries work for Satan.
He hates people and his minions will do his bidding - and attack mankind's only hope - Christianity.
Thus their constant advocacy for anything that runs counter to Christianity and God's Word.

many highschool and college textbooks or readings are dumbed down to about the 4th or 5th grade level too, nowadays

Time, Nat Geo push 'astonishingly perverse covers'

As I passed the magazine section in a store the other day, the only issue of National Geographic on display had a cover story about Jesus.

The Atlantic does the same thing. Or did. Men are over. White people are finished. Why get married? Why Obama is right. Why John Kerry could become America's greatest secretary of state. Biden is brilliant. Why it pays to be a jerk. Why I want to die at 75.

I haven't seen that many Atlantic covers like that lately. That kind of paradox was a simplistic trick that works when you're confident that the world is going your way, but not when you and your worldview are on the ropes.

But there was David Frum -- the purge guy -- telling us that Trump is building an autocracy, so crazy isn't completely dead there.
