Glenn Beck spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper tonight about President Trump changing his position on issues like NATO and China this week.
Beck––who also weighed in on the behind-the-scenes drama regarding Steve Bannon––said that for a lot of people, Trump was their “last hope” because of how different he was from so many other politicians. And he wondered how all those people feel today.
Cooper said that it looks like Trump is now embracing positions that he successfully ran and won against.
“The president,” he added, “is on the verge of beginning to look like another Republican who said stuff, didn’t mean it, and turned into Reince Priebus or Paul Ryan, and that’s not good.”

It is scary when Beck comes around to being right again.
How can anyone stand to listen to Beck? Where I live, my radio choices are slim, so I sometimes put Beck’s show on when driving to work. But OMG, I can’t take more than a few minutes of him. Bizarre, nasty, arrogant, lecturing know it all who gets so much wrong.
You should talk, Glenn. You have been all over the map on issues for a long time now.
Because GB always loved him so during the campaign.
I wonder if Glenn wrote this last November and has been holding it for the first occasion it fit.
Trump is doing things I expected him not to do, but at this early juncture we have yet to see a definitive misstep on his part - and he has ALL of DC’s criminal class arrayed against him. I am watchful and wary, but I am willing to try and understand why such events occur - in the hopes that DJT is not misled into becoming a typical republican.
If it’s in reference to things like labeling China a currency manipulator yes, he does not mean that no matter what happens he will label China a currency manipulator. Trump is results oriented. If he’s getting the result he wants, if he sees the change he wants to see, he will adapt to the new reality.
That is what successful strategic thinkers do. Not adjusting to results would be stupid. Trump is not stupid.
I watched Trump since 2011 when he was thinking about running. The way he works is so different from traditional status quo politicians, his strategic goal oriented approach is something we have never seen at the presidential level. That’s why so many don’t get it.
Glenn, there is only one word that can help you now — Zoloft. Check into it.
Then help Trump override the Congress.

Calling out the Freedom Caucus for not supporting Trump's Rinocare is not what I would label as Results oriented. Unless you believe in N.Y. values.
On the plus side Trump's business back ground has lead him to reduce money to various G'ment agencies, reduce the over-reach of the EPA, thus allowing for a better economic climate.
Then Beck should be happy cuz he didn’t like what Trump said.
