BREAKING: US judge blocks Trump order to cut off funding to cities that limit cooperation with immigration authorities.
I’m not a lawyer, but I don’t know if Trump has standing in this matter. If congress appropriated the money, and Obama signed it, Trump’s obliged to obey the law. What Trump should do is demand congress strip funding for sanctuary cities in the upcoming budget.
In that case, I shall block that judge, followed by a spinning heel kick.

No matter what President Trump does, the Democrats can always find a Democrat judge somewhere who will enjoin it.
Filling vacant judicial spots needs to be one of Trump’s highest priorities. There are currently about 130 judicial vacancies with more district court and court of appeals slots becoming vacant every year as judges retire. Trump cannot replace all of the Democrat judges, but he can sure reduce the percentage.
Yes, he seems pretty good at that. He can rescind Obama’s amnesty orders and actions without court interference but hasn’t. Everything else he does seems to get blocked by the court. And he has not asked the House to dump Ryan, so he’s left backing down, getting cut off at every move. That is ineffective. What is his plan B?

Conservatives barely talked about immigration for the last forty years. We are trying to fix the problem very suddenly from the very top with no base of support in Congress, no base of support in the legal field, in the media or in conservative think tanks which have been overwhelmingly hostile to immigration restriction.
The open borders advocates have had free reign to shape the debate for decades. It’s going to take years to overcome this advantage. It won’t be any easy fight. We are going to have to battle tenaciously every step of the way.
We need to do is to change the composition the GOP on immigration by electing new Reps. who are true believers in restriction. People like Steve King and Lou Barletta. We are going to have to get rid of the forked tongue type open borders lovers like Trey Gowdy and Bob Goodlatte who use lawyer speak to sound tough on immigration in the media while working to advance amnesty on the legislative side.
Trump is developing a habit of rolling over.

If Trump can’t do it, it can’t be done.

Just what I was asking about the vetting - how the hell does some two bit Judge from Hawaii overrule the POTUS when it comes to vetting Muslims coming into the country from terror hot spots?? WHAT right does a FOREIGNER have that supersedes the protection of the CITIZEN? If these Judges have THAT much power then where the hell were these Judges when Obama was freeing 5 Taliban commanders for a defector to the enemy? Where were these Judges when Obama was financing terror via Iran? Where were these Judges when he was arming Al Qaeda to take out the leader of a completely neutral country - Libya - creating a refugee crisis and destroying millions of lives? So Obama can do ANYTHING he wanted, even when it came to blatant hardcore treason, but President who wants to protect the CITIZEN is overruled? WTF??

If the law allows this, then Trump should demand immediate legislation from the Republican House and Senate to immediately reverse it.
American Justice system is going to pay a big price for this as well as the Democrats.
They think they’ve won, but until SCOTUS decides ... and Trump needs to secure 1 solid 5-4 win on things like this before he can start ignoring them.
In the meantime, Start arresting people not turning over illegal aliens for aiding and abetting and human trafficking.
