If you will watch the ENTIRE press briefing today with Mick Mulvaney, you will learn just how little the Democrats got out of the budget bill and how much more the President got for defense spending, education choice, etc.
The Democrats, as Mr. Mulvaney so powerfully laid out, are out there touting this budget bill as a victory for the sole purpose of pacifying their base. And unfortunately, there are too many on our side that believe it.

Yes. Their endgame with the Supreme Court was clear: with the Supremes in the bag, it was going to be a judicial dictatorship when necessary.
We saw what things were going to be like with the 0bamaJudgePresidents in Oregon, Hawaii & Maryland popping up and issuing "JudgePresident" proclamations.
Hillary & the Democrats were going to use the Federal courts to issue "a federal judge today ruled" dictums when her political agenda ran into trouble in Congress.

Just get rid of the two-track rule for filibusters, which allows a filibuster to persist while the Senate does other business.
If you remove that rule, Schmucky Schumer will have to stand in the well of the Senate with his allies and actually try to talk a bill or a CR to death, rather than simply raise a point of order while the Senate goes on to other business.
Will Schmucky want to stop a good CR with a talkity-talk filibuster? Maybe, but then the American people will finally see that it IS the Democrats shutting the government down!
