Obamacare has done nothing for me or my daughter. We have been fortunate enough to have TriCare coverage from my husband’s time in the military. However, I think Obamacare was bad policy.

My biggest concern with Obamacare has been that I can too easily imagine death panels, hiding behind policy, of course. Eventually, my daughter will age off our insurance, and she’ll be stuck with what ever is out there. I want it to be good for her sake.

And, my statement about abortion was to another poster who did suggest that the sick among could just die. But, just so you see that I’m putting my money where my mouth is, my daughter with the medical condition is adopted, from a situation where there was a lot of pressure to abort her. I didn’t say what I said lightly! It’s extremely personal to me, as is seeing some system in place for medical care for people with conditions like my daughter has.

If I inadvertently used the same words Obama used, well, he’s probably said, “Pass the salt” too. Doesn’t mean I agree with his policies at all. And believe me, I have plenty of conservative street cred!

Of course, a thought occurred to me afterward that 0b0z0care might have restricted or eliminated the catastrophic option, but I wish you luck.
