The U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee has invited former FBI Director James Comey to testify at a closed hearing on Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the committee's chairman, Richard Burr, said.
The invitation was extended by Burr, a Republican, and Mark Warner, the panel's top Democrat. There was no immediate word on whether Comey, whom President Donald Trump dismissed from his position at the FBI on Tuesday, would appear.

Why? If he tells them anything new besides what he previously stated, he would be perjuring himself. Since he is no longer employed, he no longer would have access to new information, thus his testimony would have to be the same as previous testimony.

Question #2: What evidence is there if any, that President Trump asked the Russians to hack the DNC and the Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign?
Question #3: Is President Trump the individual or collective subject of an ongoing investigation currently underway by the FBI? I remind you Mr. Comey you are no longer with the FBI and are now a private citizen under no obligation to protect any alleged investigation.
Question #4: Did you, as reported by CNN, the Washington Post and other so-called mainstream media news outlets request additional funds to expand your investigation into the alleged Russian hacking and President Trump?
Question #5: Finally Mr. Comey - who are the leakers? Again Mr. Comey, you are no longer with the FBI and the leakers have placed US Intelligence Assets at risk. Who are they Mr. Comey?
Burr is a treasonous punk.
POTUS really needs some Dem style outside groups supporting him to put the heat on these beltway pigs and their donors.

Richard Burr is a mentally challenged individual who has no right to be in the Senate. He revives all the old Burr badinage, and old Aaron must be revolving in his grave. (P.S. If Alexander Hamilton said that you had carnal knowledge of your daughter wouldn’t you too try to blow his brains out?)
