Judge Jeanine Pirro has an exclusive interview with President Trump which will air tonight at 9:00pm EDT on Fox. Judge Pirro previewed a portion of that interview last night and highlights the President considering a change in White House communications:
The “Press Pool” writ large, and the MSM outlets who use the press pool antagonists to generate the source material for their chosen narrative, are not going to change. Period.
The accusatory tone, the condescending questioning and the pretentious passive aggressive approach toward generating their news lede is never going to change. These are the same corporate media outlets who got it wrong from June 2015 all the way through the November ’16 election and yet never spent a moment in self-reflection.

I would not even let offending correspondents into the briefings until they behaved like adults and asked sane questions.
Why waste time and effort hiring, training, briefing, and replacing press spokespersons?
Just announce that effective immediately, all questions must be submitted in writing, and will be answered in writing.
Press briefings have no legitimate purpose unless they are conducted in a manner so that the American people better understand the policies and activities of the chief executive.
The way these briefings are now being hijacked by dishonest, leftist ideologues, they are doing exactly the opposite. They are creating consternation, conflict and confusion.
President Trump has a duty to the American people to put an end to these briefings at once.
Have them send all questions in writing via USPS mail.
All responses will be sent back via same method.
I have watched the briefings since the beginning and the media is so disrespectful...they act like animals and the crap they ask, of what purpose do those ‘outright’ hostile questions help Americans?

You’re right, HLady. The press uses the briefings as a feeding frenzy, a chance to pig-pile on Everything Trump. The briefings aren’t required; they’re a courtesy to the media. If the media can’t be courteous, then I have no problem with reciprocity by DJT.
Shut it down and convert the WH Press room into a pistol range.
Questions asked and answered that are repeatedly parroted by multiple journalists should result in ejection and blacklisting.
Ditto.... shut down the press briefing.
The current crop of “journalists” are rude.
And cease providing any of them transportation on AF 1 or a “press plane.” I doubt very much if they end up paying the actual cost of their “government-provided” air transportation, so just end the practice and just tell them where to show up and let them know that “seating will be limited!” Trump HAS to win this battle!

1. Trump press conference every 2-3 weeks.
2. Written releases as often as needed.
3. Twitter for everything else.

He needs to call in all the heads of the various media and tell them if they can’t send anyone with manners he will be shutting the pressers down. He needs to remind them that no matter what they think of him personally he is the President of the United States elected by the people of the United States and if nothing else the media needs to respect them

Here’s what happen at the daily press briefings:
PressSec walks out once a morning, hands out written briefs for the print enemedia, reads said briefs out-loud for the video enemedia, executes an about-face and then walks from the room. repeat daily.
doing anything else is pointless.
