1) This The Hill.com. Ultra left wing news source. It took the House several months and at least one failed vote to get something, anything to the Senate. No reason to think the Senate can’t require time, too.
2) Repeal and do not replace will not win even 20 votes in the Senate. blah blah it already did that when Obama was president blah blah. No it didn’t. If you go back and read the legislation passed, media interpreted as “kills Obamacare”, it essentially said what Ryan has in the bill that got out of the House. And it passed because it was not going to be signed.
3) There is only one criteria for the new bill. It must cut premiums. It doesn’t need to be ideologically conservative. It doesn’t need to be red meat for Texas GOPers. It has to cut premiums. PERIOD. No matter what else it does, right wing or left wing, if it doesn’t cut premiums it will lose votes in the 2018 election.
4) Before you offer up . . . Bullshit, conservatism works EVERY TIME it’s tried. You RINO assholes are destroying blah blah blah . . . before you offer that up — Go look up Sharron Angle and how conservatism was tried and smashed by no less evil a person than Harry Reid.
5) Premiums must be lower. Pretty much nothing else matters.

Regarding the post-17th Amendment ratification Senate’s “concern” about healthcare, patriots are reminded that regardless what lawless Obama’s state sovereignty-ignoring activist Supreme Court justices want everybody to think about Obamacare, it remains that they wrongly ignored that previous generations of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate healthcare purposes.

In other words, the Senate previously wrongly ignored that Congress needed to first successfully propose a healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states so that Congress would have the constitutional authority to establish Obamacare.
In fact, former Speaker Pelosi wrongly ignored a House resolution for a healthcare amendment to the Constitution when she irresponsibly rammed Obamacare through the House without discussion.
So if Trumpcare requires powers that are reasonably beyond the scope of Congress’s limited Commerce Clause powers (1.8.3) clarified in the Gibbons v. Ogden excerpt above then Pres. Trump is going to have to prod corrupt Congress to successfully petition the states for a Trumpcare amendment to the Constitution.

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.
Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.
In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.
Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.
While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.
Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.
Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

The U.S. Senate appears to be the political equivalent of a diode.
In a diode, the current can only go one direction, unless a really large voltage in the opposite direction is applied.
Now, the Senate allows the progressive laws to pass, but will only pass conservative laws if enough political pressure is applied. And, on some issues, I don’t think the voters have enough voltage to reverse the current.
That would actually be nice. If Obama care fails completely maybe we don’t need them to do anything but stand out of the way. They can clean up medicare & medicaid, the VA healthcare, do a little work on drug prices and leave us alone.
I hope Trump has a plan to deal with the likes of McConnell. All indications are that he has taken a carrot and stick approach so far with RINO’s like Ryan and McConnell, with the emphasis on the carrot. He believes they are susceptible to flattery, and he’s probably right. In the case of Ryan, a little bit of ‘stick’ was required, although it was mostly self inflicted (i.e. He let Ryan hang himself out to dry. And Ryan’s initial failure with a House bill pressured him to put something together that would pass).
I hope this kind of approach can work against McConnell. Perhaps Trump is working on things in that background that will give him more leverage and will allow him to carry a bigger stick in the future, but for right now, Trump apparently and understandably doesn’t think he is in a strong enough position to go into full attack mode against the RINOs.

The only way to deal with idiot and worthless senators is start a concentrated boycott of all business and travel in the state of Kentucky to start with and let them know we will not stop the boycott until they get rid of the turtle.
Unless the nuclear option allows the Republicans to pass their health care plan with fewer than 50 votes then McConnell can go nuclear and it won’t make a damned bit of difference. And I don’t see anywhere near 50 votes for the House version of Trumpcare.

Paul Ryan and certainly Mich are stabling the entire Republican party in the back by not holding a vote.
They are letting a few RINO’s make the whole of the Republican party look like dishonest liers who’s word and promise you can never trust, when in fact it is only a few of them.
I’m quite serous this time, they have NO excuse for not repealing Obamacare they voted to repeal it in 2015 and now those same congressmen and senator are refusing to do it again. The only difference is now that they have a president who will sign it.
That tells every republican out there that they were never serous in their campaign pledges and can never be trusted on anything they campaign for if they switch sides just to avoid keeping their number one political issue for the last 6 years.
Why should we vote for them? Why should we ever believe a word they say when they do this?
Unless there is a vote to prove my congressman supports repeal, I will vote libertarian or Constitution party.
They may lose, but at least they will keep their word. Voting for a lier who never even tries to keep his word once elected is just a wast of time.

Why would anyone vote for a congressman who changes his position the minute there is a danger of actually getting what he campaigned 6 years for?
If they don’t hold a vote proving your congressman is still for repeal as they campaigned, Vote Libertarians, or Constitution party.
