He claims his notes were unclassified and privately owned (by him). The papers she stole were top secret and marked top secret. The problem is that his claim of ownership may not be true, they may be government property.
The full Reality story is not being told in the press.
Actually he took those notes as the FBI director on the job.....those memos belong to the FBI.
... to prison.
“He claims his notes were unclassified and privately owned (by him). The papers she stole were top secret and marked top secret. The problem is that his claim of ownership may not be true, they may be government property.”
So, NOT privately owned. Besides, this is pretty much not the point. The major problem with it is that the conversations he had with Trump were subject to Executive Privilege, and divulging the content of those meetings is - in and of itself - a violation of the law.
This raises an interesting question. In business and in IT we have what we call the 80/20 rule. This is broadly interpreted as 80 percent is caused by / fixed by 20 percent. If we apply this “rule” to the leaks, it would postulate that 80% of the leaks are caused by 20% of the staff.
Now if the narrow scope is the TS/SCI community, this would mean that their is a small group of leakers. Further shrink this by Comey and Winner being removed from that pool. I would think that when you get through most of the worst leakers, there would be a sudden drop off in the leaking.
I am curious, does the FR community feel that the leaking has dried up or do we have a few more leakers that need to be found?
Why did you post the stupid cartoon?
Awe did it hurt your ittle feelings??? I posted it because it was funny, you know, ha, ha, ha, laugh, lighten up...
Comey is gone, or was you in la-la land yesterday???
Hey dumbass, you know the cartoon is being critical of Trump don’t you? No, you probably don’t. You’re one of those Never Trumpers, aren’t you?
His stuff is work product (as in the conversations were work-related) and as such they belong to his employer. Simple. Leaker.
Hahahaha!!!
Oh yeah right...ROFLMAO!!!
“Actually he took those notes as the FBI director on the job.....those memos belong to the FBI.”
I think what he revealed with his “citizen” remark on those memo’s was that they were in fact written after he was fired.
I do not believe they were written while he was employed. Not at all.
Louie Gohmert is correct, Comey needed to go...
I can’t wait for the NY Times to confess that Comey has been leaking all along......
