The former attorney general under George W. Bush said Loretta Lynch made the Department of Justice an arm of the Clinton campaign by instructing then-FBI Director James Comey to mislead the public about the Clinton email investigation.
What makes it egregious is the fact and I think its obvious that it is a fact that the attorney general of the United States was adjusting the way the department talked about its business so as to coincide with the way the Clinton campaign talked about that business, Michael Mukasey said in an interview with Newsmax on Friday.
In other words, it made the Department of Justice essentially an arm of the Clinton campaign, added Mukasey, who served as the attorney general from 2007 until 2009. That is a betrayal of the department and of its independence to illustrate that clearly that the attorney general was essentially in the tank for Secretary Clinton.
Comey testified on Thursday that Lynch successfully pressured him into using the Clinton campaigns spin on the investigation of Hillary Clintons use of a private email server as secretary of state.
Lynch told Comey to call the investigation a matter rather than an investigation, Comey said. When he asked Lynch why, he said, she dodged the question, saying: Just call it a matter.
Comey emphasized that the order, gave the impression that the attorney general [Lynch] was looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way the political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate.
Comey said he complied with Lynchs directive to use the inaccurate terminology because it wasnt a hill worth dying on.

There is strong resistance to the idea of charging former administration officials with crimes but given the way the former Administration is activity trying to undermined his successor from leaks to shocking abuses of government intelligent spying on political opposition.
That practice is obviously already over for Obama, and given the way Democrats have convened their supporters of the existence of a crime for which there is no evidence of having taken place much less having been committed by Trump. Trump is regarded as guilty nonetheless and the Democrats will not give trump the same benefit when they take power.
Clinton a big leakier herself needs to be prosecuted if you expect other employees to take the law regarding classified materials seriously.
The use of “matter” versus “investigation” bears the mark of the Clinton beast, but is about .00000000001 percent of what Lynch, the DoJ, and the FBI did to obstruct justice in the server case:
Unnecessary immunity deals, stonewalling recovery of the files, letting Hillary by with erasing critical files and wiping the server without mentioning “obstruction”, pretending Cheryl Mills and others were acting as Hillary’s attorney, thus giving them privilege from testifying, allowing witness coordination, letting the witnesses play of each other and pretend to have forgotten everything, allowing witnesses to testify NT under oath, not even bothering (per Comey) to interrogate Weiner about how the files got onto the his laptop befre declaring they knew it was an accident, pretending to now the content of 650,000 files in a few days time, and Comey’s recommendation of no indictment on the basis that Lynch was in the bag for Clinton and had met with Bill, so he’d better exonerate Hillary quick before the game was too obvious.
A question none of the Republicans on the committee asked: Mr. Comey, why did you withhold the truth from the public at Atty. Gen. Lynch’s request but not inform the public of the truth at President Trump’s request?
Infrorming the public of the truth is not as high a priority for Comey as catering to Democrats.
They’re Democrats, they don’t have to follow the law.
Exactly. And who knows what else???
Bttt!
