House Speaker Paul Ryan and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy have issued a very promising report about President Trump so far in his presidency. Compared to his immediate predecessors, Mr. Trump is forging ahead in his bid to better the nation and move forward.
To date, President Trump has signed 37 bills into law, placing him ahead of the last four administrations, the two Republican leaders noted in a report issued Thursday.

The Republican-led House has passed 158 bills, making it the most productive in the modern-era, the pair said in their report, noting that during the equivalent passage of time in the Obama administration, the House passed 131 bills.
The lawmakers had passed 67 bills at this point during the George W. Bush era, 60 during Mr. Clintons time in office and 41 during the George H.W. Bush administration. Mr. McCarthy says its record Congressional productivity to date.

What we need from Congress is not new laws, but productivity in repealing laws.
Must be a lot of post offices to rename
There is a lot going on but the media is focusing on Russia and impeachment. IMHO that is a good thing giving President Trump a free hand. Hehehehe
How’s the Budget doin’?
0bamaCare Repeal?
Border Wall funding?
Immigration vetting for seditionists?
Etc.
More importantly President Trump is focused on repealing regulations, which is mostly under the control of the executive branch. Few previous presidents touched regulations.
It takes a signed bill to repeal a law.
Exactly.
Bump
Good, but I think we all know that merely “passing bills” is NOT necessarily success.
“It takes a signed bill to repeal a law.”

McConnell has all the major stuff on hold while the GOPe gets approvals from Senator Chuckie.
Thank you. I wish people would understand that. You don’t just wave a magic wand and it disappears.
“Well hopefully, thats what most of them are.”
Agree. It would be nice to get an actual accounting.
This is great news. It’ll be a lot better when we start seeing some of the bigger issues like closing the anchor baby loophole, a decent budget that’s fair to all, something good in the healthcare arena, and hopefully some more fair supreme court judges.
