And if they find that fireworks do affect the Shot Spotter system, what will keep some smart gang members (if there are any) from having their minions set off fireworks near the sensors in several locations, sequentially, to distract the cops while they use real guns?
Somehow all these liberal panaceas for decreasing crime never seem to work out, now matter how good they sound on paper.

I have an ancestor in there. If I were him I’d say “see, I told you so!”

"We deployed some very successful tactics over the Memorial Day weekend." Yet those same tactics did not seem to work as well over the Fourth holiday. Your problem is not tactical. It is strategic. And you (police) are not the ones to fix it. It isn't caused by inadequate policing. It is caused by government policies, at all levels, which are known to foster violent antisocial attitudes. Those policies must change.

Could be it’s psyop. But then the cops would have to be ahead of things.

Napalm would solve the problem.

Evidently, the shot spotter can easily be fooled by fireworks and police could easily diverted by a few firecrackers. I guess they need to ban fireworks too. Maybe call out the National Guard to patrol the hood in Stryker vehicles as well.

Our early tally is coming in at 15 killed, 88 wounded with the usual caveats being applied - walk-ins, late expirations, bodies found rolled up in carpet in burning garages, etc... It averages out to be about a person shot every 1 hour, 6 minutes vs last year’s 1 hour, 20 minutes.

thanks to a dumb-ass FBI agent, the offender now has a Chevy Equinox, a M4, a Glock 17, a Glock 22, a Glock 27, 2 vests, full tank of gas...

Hopefully this was really a sting...
I know, I know. But I’d rather hope for that than think the FBI is hiring effing b@ll-busting idiots.

How many (or how FEW) of the victims are truly innocent and just in the wrong place at the wrong time, as opposed to being gangbangers, thugs and thieves?

Specifically, those government policies which encourage and or tolerate the 74% illegitimacy rate in the black community.

That’s certainly a big part of it ... The Dole, of all sorts, has done more to break the urban black culture than anything else. It destroyed the family and corrupted the Church. It replaced God and Dad with government. Now, the urban black culture is terminally broken. Several generations on The Dole have seen to that.

Yep. Try as they might, 32 year old Grandmothers and 48 year old Great-Grandmothers aren’t going to fill the proper role of a father in a child’s life.

Nor is a “social worker”.
