The entire output of the left is a manure delivery.

The Soros’ bankrolled media manure delivery runs long and deep.

Sater is a hall of fame snitch. He is snitching again about International money laundering. Was a CI for loretta lynch.

Was a CIA asset.

Involved with weissman who was hired by mueller

A judge has ordered an unsealing of some of his docs.

I dont think the true sleaziness can ever be revealed due to being CIA asset

Actually, the success of Trump's business model is that he usually does not take big risks in his ventures. He really trades on his brand name more than the real estate for many of his projects. Here's a good example of how it works:

1. The Trump team finds a project to develop. Let's say it's a property in New York City where they want to build a luxury condo building. For the sake of this discussion we'll assume that the building will have 200 units in it.

2. Let's assume that the market rate for luxury condos in that neighborhood is $1 million each, which means this would be roughly a $200 property at the end of the day.

3. Trump comes along and says: "People might be willing to pay $1 million for a condo here in the ABC Building, but if we call it Trump Center then people will pay a premium for the name and each unit will be worth $1.5 million."

4. The industry buys into this concept after market studies done by independent investors confirms what Trump says. The project would now be a $300 million property instead of a $200 million property.

5. The development team goes out and gets other investors to pony up money to build the project.

6. Without paying a penny out of his own pocket, Trump can get a 33% ownership stake (the value of his $100 million "brand") in the project.

It's actually a incredibly smart way to make a lot of money. It also explains why he has spent his career acting like a carnival promoter and keeping his name in the news even if it's just in the gossip pages. The Trump name instantly brings credibility to a project.

The downside of this approach (it's really more of a regulatory issue than anything else) is that the investors who buy into this (the original project, not an individual $1.5 million condo) will not include institutional investors like insurance companies and pension funds that are among the largest investors in real estate projects. They are subject to regulatory oversight that precludes them from buying into anything built on a "brand value" instead of real estate market fundamentals that would have made this a $200 million project without the Trump name on it.

On the other hand, this also means that the projects don't have to meet the scrutiny of government regulators who are responsible for making sure that insurance companies and pension funds remain solvent ... so the administrative cost of running a project like this is probably much lower than other projects.

Btw...this story shows why Eric’s alledged but denied comment about Russian money and the golf courses will be thoroughly investigated in NY.

As I commenced reading that screed, I began to see various colors. I saw green-eyed jealousy for Trump’s success. As I read on, and on, and on, I began to see another color. I thought about what an acute case of the Red@$$ this miserable creep is nursing. Sux to be him.

Azerbaijan will be a prominent part of an investigation ..especially since it was just revealed that the President of Azerbaijan son In law was involved in the Jr escapade. He is now divorced from the daughter. Not sure when Agalarov married her.

The Trump project was a corrupt mess in that country. Not saying Ivanka trump knew it. I have no way to know if she did.

I suppose next week New Republic will do an expose on Chinese business and real estate acquisitions in California and New York, including billions in Nancy Pelosi’s district.

Won’t waste my time reading such drivel. The first sentence reads (in Liberalese) “Here’s another hit piece on President Trump”.

The time Unger took to write this junk would have served humanity better if he had to write on a blackboard with chalk “President Trump is awesome” 1000 times.

I heard this guy on the John Batchelor Show the other night. His connecting of Trump with the Russian mob sounded good until Batchelor pointed out that the Russians were buying up pricy real estate everywhere from everyone, particularly in London, but also in every other major European city. The overlap between the Russian mob and the oligarchs and the Russian government adds another layer of confusion to this story.

Where to begin, where to begin?

Let’s start with the unsupported assertion that the first Russian mentioned was a “Russian Army pilot” who “shot down Americans over VietNam.” And the rest of the article’s assertions are just as dubious.

If I am selling a house and someone makes an offer...I probably dont care where the money is coming from if I can prove its an arms length transaction.

If I am building a house and getting involved with russian mobsters to build it
...thats another story.

I always wondered why clinton and Gope didnt hit harder about mafia dealings. If you watched Sopranos you might remember the no show and no work contracts. Yes....those are real life things.

Hard to see how he and his father coukd build like they did in that area without running into those kinds of things.

My short summary of this leftist spin, with some explanatory notes:

Occasionally crooks buy real estate. Sometimes they are Russians, but historically pretty much every ethnic group imaginable has members who are crooks.

Occasionally crooks invest in business deals. Sometimes they are Russians, but there have been cases where the crooks are Italian, Irish, English, Canadian, Israeli, Colombian, Mexican, and many other nationalities.

Since the crooks were Russian, and they bought real estate from, or invested in real estate deals with Trump, somehow this is the leftist story of the day, and in their TDS suffering minds, yet more evidence that Trump is colluding with the Russians.

When the Clinton's business partners in a real estate deal in Arkansas were sent to prison nobody suggested that there was some collusion between the Clintons and Ireland even though the crook's name was McDougal.

And that is why nobody trusts the main stream leftist media anymore.

If I am building a house and getting involved with russian mobsters to build it ...thats another story.

If you have ever built anything in certain parts of our nation you have probably already been involved with "mobsters" of some type. That's just a fact of life in many cities.

You may not have even noticed, nor had anything other than normal business dealings with them, but you would be "involved" in the view of the leftists writing the article.

In the same way, how likely is it that you could build much more than a house without having at least one worker on the job be an illegal alien?

I really dont think you can get around it in certain parts of the country...it was an obvious place to hit trump..and they didnt

I always wondered why..maybe their own dealings..or just warned off

Piasa pinged me to an old thread from 15 years ago. Dude got part of his finger chopped off . People thought at the time it was a russian warning

Probably a lot of congress are compromised by mafia
