Not yet finished with a very long article, but I will want to see other comments from more informed FReepers than myself.

“Trump’s Russian Laundromat”

But, has Mr Unger been able to answer the age-old question of... “I put two socks in the dryer, and only one came out. Where’s my other sock?”

Where does the spin stop, and the slander start?

Donald J. Trump has NEVER needed Soviet or Russian seed money for ANYTHING, and the presence or absence of Russians in his business dealings had nothing to do with his subsequent success in any of his business undertakings.

By every estimate, the Trump business model has been an example of risk-taking that has paid off, big league, and Donald Trump built it petty largely on force of character. Sure, he had a HUGE boost early in his career by getting seed capital through his father, then like the good and faithful servant of the parable, he multiplied it many times over.

PRESIDENT TRUMP, get on the offense. Turn the focus on the GRIMY LAUNDRY - Hillary, OBAMA, Podesta, DNC and act on it!

The stories you see here are probably very typical of the dealings you see in any privately financed real estate project in New York City. There’s a reason why the place never has trouble attracting people to live there even though it’s a ridiculously expensive place to do business.

How to use Trump Tower and other luxury high-rises to clean dirty money, run an international crime syndicate, and propel a failed real estate developer into the White House.

Oh, to be such a big league failure!

Thought I smelled something putrid this AM. Thought perhaps my neighbor had gotten another manure delivery. But then I found this article. Mystery solved.

Skimming over this and similar “connect the dots” pieces make me think: Is this the same kind of reporting that we on the right have consumed about the Clintons and Obamas and believe to be true. Is it creative writing to sound legit? Or muddying the waters. My first thought was that Mr. Unger should put his investigative effort into Clinton’s past (or name your Dem). I believe the Clintons are all the bad we have read and it is infuriating that legal consequences never comes from their shenanigans, except for Bill’s law license revoked. But I have to stop and ask this question. The ruling class increasingly makes me ill. I believe they are cagey but not particularly smart and ethically challenged for the most part. Say what you will but Ted Cruz and some of the younger crowd are trying to help the President succeed. McConnell and Ryan are treading water and making excuses. Trump has an uphill climb and has done well against the forces that be. If he perseveres maybe he can really change things. But those leaches will always fill the void.

I would think it would violate civil rights laws to NOT sell or lease to specific groups.

Good article, interesting stuff.

At the end of the day, Trump sells apartments. He doesn’t sell uranium. He doesn’t sell his political office. He sells real estate. If I was selling high dollar real estate I would be enormously happy for well funded international buyers to make me an offer.

I would not sell them uranium, though, and I would not sell my political office if I had one.

This article makes the broadest and wildest claims, then “clears the air” or contradicts itself.
