That was not a real cop who killed that Aussie woman. It was a primitive Somali muslim tribesman!!!! And he had two complaints against him (including taking a woman to the hospital against her will.( He should not have been on the active duty force, at least pending clearing those complaints.

However, that BS liberal woman Mayor has fallen all over herself supporting this Somali, puns hm onto the police force before he was anywhere close to ready. And before that, the ELCA ("Lutheran") refugee services has been busy importing hundreds of Somali tribespeople into the US. This individual even was able to attend the ELCA's Augsburg College before becoming a cop.

Some common sense should prevail over both sides of this issue.

This is America. We have a 2A that even most demoncraps support. There is not going to be any great gun hand-in or confiscation. That train left years ago.

If you want to keep your guns out of the hands of those who should not be touching them, use the Fight Club Rule.

First rule, don’t talk about your guns.

Second rule, DON’T TALK ABOUT YOUR GUNS.

The point is that when you do, you have no control over where that information goes.

Don’t let your kids know you have them unless you are of they type of person where you want your kids to know and be familiar with firearms. Nothing wrong with that tradition.

I NEVER showed my children my guns and my bedroom was off limits. (Kids can be intelligent but they cannot be wise). I always shut my door when I secured my weapons and they (and others) knew that if they went past that threshold, there was going to be problems, quick, fast and in a hurry. That was further reinforced by my wife, to all visitors and family members and without being specific as to the why.

Most of the people being killed in the US by firearms are not innocent victims. They reside in circles where violence is commonplace and it should shock no one that it occurs.

Law-abiding citizens carry because they don’t want to be the victim of said violence, even though they don’t reside in those circles of violence. Sometimes the violence does not stay in its circles and ventures forth. For those instances, citizens need to be armed.

Our legal (not justice)system has failed the citizenry of this nation for far too long, not incarcerating those who commit violence for the lengths of time society requires to stay safe. As such, citizens have armed up and will continue to do so.

In regards to the Milwaukee shooting, this is most likely either piss poor weapons handling or an officer already on edge from some other stimulus and shooting wildly. Either way is inexcusable. I don’t buy into the whole muslim angle either, although I would rather not have muslim officers in this nation at all.

As far as him talking about the incident, there are always two investigations that take place in a officer involved shooting, the internal and the external. Internal deals with policy, and the external deals with any criminal violations. You must cooperate with an internal affairs investigation as a condition of employment. During these proceedings you can invoke Garrity rights, in which what you say cannot be used against you in a criminal proceeding but can be used to fire you. So right now, Officer Noor should be on unpaid leave for failure to cooperate with an internal investigation. Or fired.

External investigations, the officer enjoys the same protections against self-incrimination as any citizen.

Much has been made about the officers not having their body cameras on in the car. Policies differ (a common one is you only turn it on when you are contacting some other party) but one that is supposed to be immutable that cannot have the camera on in places and circumstances where sensitive information can be captured, such as the computer screen of the car laptop. To do so violates federal privacy laws.

As those videos can be deemed public record, an agency must take every precaution not to release information or intelligence that could be detrimental to uninvolved parties or could be a security leak in regards to intelligence or sensitive operations.
