The left has found a way to benefit from this. They are using the shooting to demand that the government seize guns from the hands of innocent, non-violent citizens and from all police.
This cop is an exception. What he did does not reflect the actions of anyone else.

The author congratulates places like NYC, Chicago and San Francisco for their strict gun control, then blames their high murder rate on other States not having gun control. Ugh!
It’s possible he never saw her face. Most cops keep their eyes on the hands in a perceived dangerous situation. Most likely the woman approached the car from behind and appeared suddenly in the window after the loud sound.

To them, any restrictions that can be placed on the possession of firearms is “A-Otay!” regardless of who’s being restricted.
IMMEDIATELY TAKE TENS OF THOUSAND OF GUNS OFF THE STREETS: Disarm the police.
I don’t talk about my guns - but do spread the work far and wide about my optics. When folks know (or think) I have thermal imagers and Gen 3+ night vision, it at least makes them think twice about their safety at night.

If he was intelligent enough to become a police officer, he’d better run.
Statistically, if you take all guns away from Democrats, gun deaths would decline considerably.
Then, if you somehow magically could take all guns away from all non high school graduate, non military, and unemployed black males, “homicidal” gun deaths would go to virtually zero.

We have a trainload of gun laws on the book in Chicago, liberal democrats will not enforce them. St. Paul is as liberal as Chicago.

It’s more about cop culture in the US and how cops are trained there compared to the rest of the world.
