Cops arrested radio talk show host and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa early Tuesday outside Mayor de Blasio’s Upper East Side home.
Sliwa, 63, appeared at Gracie Mansion on East End Ave. near E. 88th St. at about 8:25 a.m. to serve de Blasio with a lawsuit aimed at getting him off the Working Families Party line and ended up in handcuffs just after 8 a.m. ---SNIP--- Regula said as many as 12 police cars rushed to the scene as Sliwa was being arrested.

He ought to stop with the theatrics and let a professional process server handle it.
De Blasio is a special person protected by a lawless and unaccountable NYPD squad of paramilitaries.
Good thing Sliwa had this on video or he’d have been executed in the street for daring to challenge the ruling liberal elites.

Looks like NYPD volunteered to accept service on Blasio’s behalf. Maybe the New York Code of Civil Procedure would consider this valid “substitute service”

It’s like a man who has vicious guard dogs that he constantly abuses. No matter how poorly he treats his dogs he can still count on them to mindlessly and viciously attack whoever he tells them to attack.
And let me make clear to the boot and holster lickers that I am pointedly referring to the NYPD as a pack of mindless and vicious dogs.
They’re among the many reasons I will never visit NYC.

You should not be surprised that in a force of over 30,000 cops, a few could be found to sellout the interests of their fellow officers for a promotion.
The PC serves ‘at the pleasure of the mayor’ and the rank and file are obliged to obey his lawful orders and policies. I get a bit tired of some here on FR who think the NYPD is equivelent to the guard detail at Auschwitz. For the record from Feb 1952 through this moment in time a member of my family has been an MOS.
Do any of you listen to it? He’s a co-host with Ron Kuby. Both are nuts.
Kuby retired and Sliwa now co-hosts with Ebony K. Williams of Fox.
