Well that's a fraction of a mm down, and 80mm up so far since the 90s. If you count from the 1850s, that's 300mm, what does it mean? Regardless of how you feel about the source being manmade pollution, bad science in top of bad science is not the way to go. Nothing about being a conservative means we can ignore real data.
Unflinching we look at the data, and conclude mankind maybe is just a speck in the planet, and unlike many Liberals, we know we are not so powerful as to stop sea rise by another government program.

If you travel in Florida, and probably anywhere along a coastline, you will stop in restaurants and hotels and see photos from the teens, twenties and thirties of the buildings beside the beach. The beach and the buildings are still, except for tides, of course, in the same relative positions.

I read this years ago. There are three factors determining whether the Earth is in an Ice Age. The amount of solar radiation, the tilt of the Earth’s axis, and the Atlantic crossover point of the Gulf Stream (lower latitude means less heat to Greenland and leads to an ice age.) (I think there is another factor but can’t recall it now.)

The amount of solar radiation and the current axis tilt would indicate we are currently in an ice age. However, the Gulf Stream goes much farther north than it has in other ice ages and it is keeping the Earth from experiencing an ice age. This has been going on for about 10,000 years. (Again, I am recalling this 10k number and haven’t researched it recently.) That means that the bulk of civilized human existence and the entirety of Western Civilization, has taken place in an unusual warm patch when you look at the weather on the long, long term.

We are much more likely to go back into an ice age than to experience global warming.

Sea levels have been rising since the end of the last Ice Age about 10,000 years ago. 10,000 years ago you could walk from Northern Norway to Scotland, thence to Germany and on to the southern tip of the Americas without getting your feet wet. The Thames was a tributary of the Rhine, the Rhine emptied into the Atlantic at a point to the west of Scotland.

There is no evidence of recent acceleration is sea level rise, and it will continue until the next ice age, which is certainly coming.

I don’t see a problem with throwing this back in the faces of liberals even if it is not a 20 year trend.

Man-caused (anthropogenic) global warming (AGW) is a hoax, pure and simple, perpetrated as a wealth distribution scheme which doubles as a corrosive agent to the sovereignty of individual nations.

If the leftists and alarmists want to vilify people and tout every day that exceeds some historic temperature high, every hurricane, every flood, every tornado or other incidence of foul weather, or even every abnormal low freezing temperature on man-caused global warming, I see no problem doing the same thing back at them.

If only to hear them scream foul, and be able to provide ammunition to expose them for the hucksters and hypocrites they are when they do this on a daily basis.
