HA! You’ll give a sh*t when those America-hating Unions that fund demonicRAT campaigns start withholding funds.

“Had McConnell turned Manchin, McCain’s treasonous vote would not have mattered.”

Had McConnell turned Manchin, there were other GOP senators who would have stepped up and voted no. McCain took the hit because he’s dying and could afford to take the hit. I’m sure Flake and others would have voted no if their voted was needed to KEEP Obamacare.

You have got a point—the bench of Kabuki theater players is deep on the GOP side.

Trump seems to be able to expose everyone for who they truly are.

We have fooled ourselves for years thinking the GOP would be on our side and do the right thing.

The GOP is on the Uniparty side.

Time for a new political party.

Manchin is just posturing for the folks back home, like they all do. Remember him being “totally behind” healthcare reform back in 2009 but then steadily moving away from it when it became unworkable and unpopular? The man is a political cameleon who changes position to advance his political career.

“Notice that McConnell could not turn even ONE Dem Senator”

Because they do only as Schumer directs them.

As for Manchin’s change of heart?

Not only did Schumer allow this, he wrote the words for him to recite.

Ever see Manchin without a shirt? Does he swim or go to the beach?

No marks, no visible bruises.Schumer keeps them in line, he wants to be the big dog in the Senate.

I don’t see any GOP to Democrat defections. Arlen Specter felt betrayed & abandoned by dems after he served their purpose

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/215379-specter-says-obama-ditched-him-after-he-provided-60th-vote-to-pass-health-law

“Former Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.) writes in a new book that President Obama ditched him in the 2010 election after he helped Obama win the biggest legislative victory of his term by passing healthcare reform.

Specter also claims that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) did not uphold his promise to grant him seniority accrued over 28 years of service in the Senate as a Republican.”

He became a nobody.

>> I will never, never, be able to grasp such asinine thinking <<

Well, it seems to be more and more the norm around here. So better get used to it.

Capito is a McCain/Graham/Rubio/Hatch/Heller/Flake/Corker RINO.

Please elect someone better if you dump Manchin.

If Joe Manchin had a functioning brain...he would have switched to becoming a Republican a long tine ago!!!

As an important sidebar come next Tuesday, August 15th, 2017, the great state of Alabama will hold a primary election to replace Senator Jeff Sessions, who now runs the DOJ for POTUS, Trump.

I urge all legal voters in Alabama to cast their votes for Republican, Conservative, Mo Brooks, Congressman, Alabama. Mr. Brooks is a loyal dedicated supporter and defender of POTUS Donald J. Trump. Do it, folks and help make America great again.

Yes, we should primary them, but don’t ask them to switch parties before then or you won’t see any more nominees go through.

Would someone remind this stupid SOB that he was elected to REPRESENT the voters of his state - the ones that gave President Trump his biggest margin.

This attitude is all too prevalent among elected officials at all levels. It is our own fault and nobody can stop it, but us.

Taxation without representation is tryranny.

Notice that McConnell could not turn even ONE Dem Senator to vote for the Ocare repeal, even though 23 of them are up for re-election.

Had McConnell turned Manchin, McCain’s treasonous vote would not have mattered.

I think you're looking at this wrong. If McConnell had turned a democrat senatecritter, then they'd have had another GOP senatecritter who would have had to vote with McCain instead of being provided cover by being allowed to vote against. The result was predetermined. Who voted what way to provide the necessary votes really was all it was about.

Manchin is just blowing smoke now for the folks back home—he KNOWS his election is around the corner timewise, and wants to pull a McCain on everyone—go back home and fool the folks, then get back to DC to do Schumer’s bidding.

Yup. McCain and many others do this every few years.

I once saw him from a short distance at the Bluefield Coal Show. His appearance impressed me that he was too slick and looked like a used car salesman. I can tell them from a mile away.
