Admiral Lord West of Spithead
I bet his ‘solution’ involves the impeachment of Trump.

That's how you start a panic. I would be perfectly happy to be stationed in Korea again, like I was in 1978-79 and 1981-82. Best thing that happened to me in the service. Great hard-working, intelligent people. They went from complete and utter devastation in 1953 to being arguably the most advanced country in the world today. Would that African countries would model themselves after South Korea.

This is one of the effective ways to send a message. Yes, it may cost some money to some folks, and make people nervous. However, there is no painless way to handle this problem.
If it reaches the point that residents in Beijing get spooked, it would give China further motivation to cooperate. I think China is still jerking us around. The best they currently want to do is probably to make N. Korea temporarily freeze their missile and nuclear test, and forcing everybody to spin it as his victory and back off from N. Korea.

I’m not sure, but it appears to me, that Kim just blinked.
I thought we were heading toward a conflict, with Guam as the trip-point.
Now Kim has apparently said, North Korea will (not) be targeting a missile toward Guam.
Just a small item, but seems significant. Markets seem to think so.

Nation leaders don't make this sort of call lightly......same with removing Ambassadors and clearing out their families. Also some nations don't advertise they're pulling people out. Looks to me like Tillerson, Trump and the Generals are following through the steps they said would be taken to keep the pressure building on Fatboy and China......this is one of them as well....but it is coming down to the wire of options left.....Fatboys playing chicken I think.

It’s always good to take a little time and plan ahead, just in case. When I lived in Japan, I took to heart the earthquake disaster plans, drills, and training. That’s where I honed my bugout bag skills, including bags in the car and at work, and I started putting away precious metals. I refreshed my camping skills and equipment. I also studied maps of the local area for backroads, bottlenecks, and footpaths.
It would be wise for all foreigners in South Korea to start thinking ahead about what they would do in an emergency.

UK citizens should be warned to leave the UK. It’s becoming like No. Korea.
