PHOENIX - The Confederate monument that stands at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza, just outside the Arizona state Capitol, looked a little different than it usually does Tuesday evening.
In addition to its memorializing of Arizona Confederate soldiers and its erectors, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the statue got a few new decorations.
At the top, a ribbon hung with the words, "You lost, get over it," and at the bottom, the monuments message "A nation that forgets its past has no future" had been covered with a "2nd Place," "Participant" banner.

And I agree with the other poster’s comment - This whole confederate monument issue is a democrat-made mess, and we should be reminding them of it over and over and over....
The leftist groups never accept any lost battle as a final resolution, why should anybody else?
I think the custom now is the present the non-winners with a participation trophy and just not a banner.
But then again, the definition of “Trophy” is: “a cup or other decorative object awarded as a prize for a victory or success.”

Their needs to be a Federal investigation into the enforcement negligence that facilitated the violence. Not condemning the LEOs — two died.
