Parents are finding fewer and fewer ways to protect their children from being used as guinea pigs inside an experiment constructed by unelected bureaucrats.
If you had argued pre-Obergefell that de-sexing marriage would lead to drag queens leading preschool storytime in public libraries and public schools hounded into hiding their mandatory sex ed curriculum from parents after a settlement requiring trans-friendly education starting in kindergarten, you would have been called an unhinged bigot. How could what two consenting adults do privately have any effect on whether five-year-olds are told they should consider cutting off their penises? Preposterous. Fear-mongering. Wild-eyed insanity.

As Ive written before, Obergefell and related caselaw, which are still developing, are turning out not to be about what consenting adults do privately. They are the spear tip of a wholesale shift in law that is already negatively affecting children, because at its heart is the principle that sexuality is genderless.
As theologian N.T. Wright pointed out to the Times of London last week, Nature tends to strike back, with the likely victims in this case being vulnerable and impressionable youngsters who, as confused adults, will pay the price for their elders fashionable fantasies.
This is likely why the transgender movement is targeting the young: They are vulnerable and impressionable, prepuberty pose better as either sex and therefore look less terrifying than adult transgenders, and once locked into the trans body morph will never truly be able to escape. Devastated people are prime candidates for exploitation by their pretend advocates. Also, locking in trans-policies now is a way to preclude debate before more extensive data and personal experience can fuel the inevitable backlash.

Patriots need to start claiming their constitutional Article IV, Section 4 protections (4.4), the Founding States making 4.4 to guarantee the states a republican form of government.
Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
In other words, citizens are not obligated to comply with regulations made by non-elected bureaucrats in state or federal governments imo.
In fact, state and federal lawmakers probably let non-elected bureaucrats get away with stealing and exercising legislative powers in unpopular ways so that career lawmakers can keep their voting records clean and so be reelected.

The BIG problem with going to Congress to claim 4.4 protections from the states at this time is the following imo.
Regardless that Obama is out of office, the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification uniparty Congress that let lawless Obama and faceless federal bureaucrats get away with stealing state powers and using those stolen powers to oppress the states and their citizens is still in power.
So we predictably cannot rely on Congress to do its constitutional duty to guarantee the states a republican form of government.
And although Trump is accomplishing a LOT as president, it remains that since the uniparty Congress wants to get rid of him, his first two years in office are arguably just practice.
Taking all these things into consideration with respect to do-nothing Congress, we need to see new patriot faces in Congress. That being said

Since corrupt Congress is the biggest part of the sewer (imo) that Trump wants to drain, it is actually up to patriots to drain the sewer in the 2018 elections, patriots supporting Trump by electing as many new members of Congress as they can who will support Trump.
In the meanwhile, patriots need to make sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting candidates on the primary ballots.
Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitutions Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal governments powers.
Patriots also need to make sure that candidates are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal governments limited powers listed here.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphases added]." Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Also, unlike incumbent members of Congress who wrongly remained silent while misguided state officials abridged the constitutionally enumerated rights of citizens during the lawless Obama Administration, patriots need to make sure that candidates on the 2018 primary ballots commit to the following.
Candidates need to commit to making and enforcing 14th Amendment-related laws to prosecute misguided state officials who use state powers to abridge constitutionally enumerated protections, 1st Amendment-protected religious expression and free speech for example, such actions prohibited by Section 1 of the 14th Amendment.
14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

When my eldest son was a toddler, he ran in on me as I was getting out the the shower, the first thing he noticed is that I have no penis. He was so sorry for me because he really liked his penis. AS I shuffled him out the door, he says “maybe when you get as big as daddy, God will give you one, too.”
I’m glad no wacked-out perv bothered him. Every man should should love their penis, IMHO. :>

I am not a home-schooler, but I’m a grandma who’s son and daughter-in-law are going to homeschool - THANK GOD!!! The grandkids are only 3 and 2, but DIL is already gathering the information needed.
Good for them...
I homeschooled my children through high-school. Almost aced the SAT. It is not too difficult, just takes dedication. It sounds like the DIL has it. I, as the father, took the responsibility for it, and my wife wholeheartedly jumped on board.
