It’s good to see here are some here that are not afraid to call out the elephant in the room.
The only paper is, and for the most part the local snooze stations. There is some good talk radio, including Michael Brown, former FEMA Deputy Director. His show is great inside baseball.
A big factor is the illegal drug complex which involves politicians on the take.
I believe it's also the correct answer. I know what you're getting at, but throughout the past 200 years, those who have bought in to the Democrat's entitlement mentality have resorted to violence to get what they think they're entitled to.
150 years ago, it was slavery. Hundreds of thousands of Americans died as a result of the Democrats attempt to keep their "property".
Then it was lynchings and attacks against blacks and the Republicans who fought against it.
We've all seen the violence perpetrated by the more violent union bosses.
Now we have ANTIFA continuing the Democrat's tradition of violence against anyone who doesn't agree with their false narrative.
And what about all of those babies who never saw their own birthdays, because their mothers (or fathers) thought they were entitled to the fun without the responsibility?
In all of these examples including what's happening in Democrat run cities now, what did most of them have in common?
It wasn't their skin color.

After being born and raised in So Cal, I was eventually stampeded out and live here in beautiful Texas.
I miss the weather like a junkie misses heroin but I have been able to make it and just look at the latest new taxes in my old home to feel instantly better.
Surely NO will be safer without those awful statues! Glad the Mayor focused on the real problem. Having said that, the corruption in NO is beyond belief, includes all levels of government including the PD and shows no signs of ending. They only care about keeping the French Quarter clean, nothing else. Its their gravy train.

The problem is obviously that these cities are run by Democrats. If someone would just explain to the black populations that Democrats are the real racists, and that enterprise zones and lower capital gains taxes will solve all of this. Has anyone even tried this approach? Maybe if the GOP would nominate a conservative black candidate! That would wreck the Democrat narrative!

Colin Flaherty’s videos say otherwise about Portland, OR, Seattle, San Francisco, and Madison. While they are nowhere near as bad as the cities on the list, they still have black criminality that is way out of proportion to their small percentage of the population in those places. Oops! I just gave it away about those other cities, didn’t I?
New York City not even on the list. And for good reason. You get crazy in NYC and you got the NYPD coming down on you from all corners. In fact, I would say that Manhattan from maybe 110th Street down to the Battery and in between 3rd and 8th Avenues is probably the safest place for humans on planet earth.
