Sounds like extortion to me ... I thought that used to be against the law.

Ha ha, that is what I thought, heck for that kind of money I could pretend to be a gang banger. If I lived there I would hound them to post pictures of those getting paid to not kill people. I am sure they look like poor little misunderstood children.

I’m afraid that the US will make real concessions to China — on trade or on freedom of navigation in the South China Sea — in return for help in dealing with North Korea. Paying for removal of a threat.

I guess all they would have to do to get a better deal is...shoot someone.

I cannot imagine the thought process of anyone that thinks this is a great idea. They must at least think they have the support of their voters...

I wonder why they didn’t do that first? I guess the shootings must have seriously disturbed the citizens and they decided to get all hard core right off the bat.

Sounds plausible. Also possible the liberals there are loony enough to believe it will work.

I would love to have been there when that plan was presented, and...it passed by unanimous vote. I am betting the guy that presented it is the one getting the kickback, the rest are likely true believers.

The idea will attract a lot more criminals

I am sure the word is already spreading like wildfire on the streets.

Well even that sounds like a better idea than this nonsense. And we know how that turned out. Liberals don’t like history so never a thought to how this may have turned out in that past.

They don’t seem to be concerned about head choppers at the moment. If the head choppers hear about this they may have to pay them as well.

That’s like giving in to terrorists on blackmail, which is just what will happen, the ante will keep going up to keep the violence down.
