"Plus, I know he’s not a Constitutional conservative and he surprises me all the time when he aligns with conservative principles yet I know he’s capable of falling for big government liberalism."

The federal government’s constitutionally limited powers evidently haven’t been taught for many generations. So not only is Pres. Trump probably not up to speed on the fed’s limited powers, but the institutionally indoctrinated, constitutional “experts” that he’s probably had no choice but to surround himself with are likely a good example of the blind leading the blind.

But Trump listens. That’s one of the reasons that I support him.

However, patriots are probably going to have to wait until after 2018 elections, patriots hopefully giving Trump as many new Trump-supporting members of Congress as they can, before Constitution-savvy patriots can get Trump’s ear to get him up to speed on the fed’s constitutionally limited powers.

The Snake is a song by Al Wilson based on Aesop’s The Farmer and the Viper parable or fable

Nice of you to point it it’s literary origin

Most just know the song

Well played

I understand about Harvey spending. I don’t want them to get close so their cooties rub off on him :^)

"Yes, sly and cunning, I know. Makes me nervous he’s flying so close to the flame. He’ll be tempted to spend more $$$ we don’t have."

We've been doing the latter for some time. The last President who left the country debt-free was Andrew Jackson, I think.

I’d like to see a GOP Senator insert into the Harvey aid bill one line:

ACA is repealed.

Done.

Pretty disgusting. I hope knows what he's doing. He should read his 'Snake' poem.

I agree. That snake closest to his left is the worst of the worst. God, those poor Kentucky voters...

But instead of planning to pass any long-term funding, the president appeared willing to punt his big agenda items to December and focus on passing Hurricane relief funding.

Breitbart has lost their minds. GOP Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told a stunned Maria Bartiromo just yesterday that border wall funding was OFF until "at least" December! The enemy GOPe "punted" American security to protect their criminal Chamber bosses. Trump did EXACTLY the right thing by reminding the corrupt Ryan and McConnell just how little power they really have.

Snuckie Schumer is happy. Pelosi is almost sitting on the couch with a Republican - again. Very bad signs.

from the first time he read it I wondered if he was the snake giving us fair warning. I’m still optimistic he will do well as president through out his term(s).

Yeah - that’s it, he had no choice. He did what every liberal wanted him to do because he had no choice.

Independent thought, it’s not just not the ‘in’ thing in 2017.

What choice did he have?

I guess the GOP is going to be surprised when I don’t vote for them anymore too. No point. It’s the enemy.
