"Married guys have to ask to do things."
A lot more married women have to "ask". I know at least one who didn't dare ask. She was "told". It was his way or the highway. I'll never forget the day I walked out.

‘87 300ZX is a nice car...
I’d have done the same for my ‘67 390 Mustang GT...if I still had it, that is... :^)

Atta girl.
I didn’t walk out (4 children to consider) but one day I just stopped giving a rats ass about “his way.”
It was a whole new world for him.
I don’t ask, tell, explain...I just do.

Perhaps his next big project should be a garage.

Car collecting certainly has changed, I guess. If he's in the middle of a restoration, it's not a prize. I have a 300ZX, and it's near perfect with only 36K miles on it. No resto needed. I have multiple cars, mileage varies on each. In the end, they are just things and not prizes. A prize is a good wife and family to keep safe.

That is funny...new living room furniture, a Nissan 300Z. My choice would be a 72 Mustang Mach1, thou.
