That is a man with a plan. I have no doubt he will get his family through the hurricane safely and even possibly in comfort. A+ dude, and picked a good wife to boot.
That’s great
Children all around and she can’t stop with the F-words. In the video, it’s more clear than the story that she isn’t happy with the deal she made.
Sigh. Married guys have to “ask” to do things.
If it was her little convertible there’d be no asking. She’d just say take the doors off and put it in the house.
A 300ZX? I could understand a Supra or certain kinds of Mustangs or Camaros.
He should have at least parked it so it faced the TV. In-Home Drive In Movies!
How cool would that be?
There are any number of OBX residents who do this, but more common is a temporary ramp to get the front end up on a porch to keep the engine and interior from being submerged. I’ve seen ramps on cinderblocks with cars or trucks on them, on the side of the house sheltered from wind before, too, on Ocracoke.
That looks like a concrete slab floor there, though, so if there’s flooding the first floor is not raised above grade much at all. Not much benefit for his hobby car, if he’s worried about flooding in their locale.
Okay, this isn’t the guy who said both he and his car were on the eighth floor.
1987 Nissan is a prized car?
Car collecting certainly has changed, I guess.
Perhaps his next big project should be a garage.
Best prep post EVER!

That is funny...new living room furniture, a Nissan 300Z. My choice would be a 72 Mustang Mach1, thou.
