A woman with a name tag noting her as the manager rolled her eyes and said to no one in particular as she went about stacking the shelves behind the counter, "And they wonder why people don't vote for Democrats around here anymore."
Plimpton, 46, is best known for her role in the 1980's Steven Spielberg classic kid adventure movie "The Goonies." She made her remark in an interview with Dr. Willie Parker at a #ShoutYourAbortion event in Seattle in June.....

There are really two Americas. The one that does the real work and pays the taxes. And then there is the other, a much smaller group that floats like scum on top of a pond.
Democrats simply can’t reverse course or even stand still on their core anti-Western, anti-civilization message. Their vocal constituency will not allow it. Is the author, therefore, suggesting Democratic candidates lie? To do that requires what Saul Alinski called a “dog whistle”. To use that effectively the adherents must be sophisticated and in-the-know. That tactic only works by word of mouth and among the various tightly knit political action cells. I laughed out loud at Obama’s confusion when people were boing him. He was trying to signal a dog whistle and ended up helplessly saying something like, “hey, it’s us. We’ve won.”
It’s hard to fake policies that real citizens want when the loudest and most dangerous “actvists’ don’t realize you are faking.
And Pope Francis is giving away Catholics by alienating the Rust Belt.
They are courting the “Lust Belt” of the LGBTQRSATAAPQZXY which has driven away the good wholesome folks of the “Rust Belt”...
And the Pope is doing what he can to bring straying Catholics back to the Democrat fold.

I fear many Catholics, especially the French-Mexican kind, seem to be all for the government biscuit, kids “pregnant” with their mum and her pimps be damned.
How many people know a Judge’s fitness for confirmation was questioned because they were Catholic last week by Rats? It was almost universally ignored.

Finally! finally! someone is talking about the Catholic vote and how is sunk Hillary Clinton. I don’t have the numbers handy but basically it goes like this: Clinton got 47% of Catholic vote (counting Hispanics who sold out the principles for a loaf of welfare cheese) and Trump got 53% - without the Hispanic fake Catholics dragging this number down it would have been 60 /38 Trump support from Catholics. These numbers are important because: since 1952 No Republican that has won the Catholic vote has ever lost. And no Democrat who has gotten 47% or less of the catholic vote has ever won. The media (ABC Langer Research to be exact) hid the truth of how bad Clinton was doing with Catholics and a smothered the facts after Wikileaks exposed Podesta’s plot to take over the Catholic Church it stopped even mentioning it.
They gave it away the same way they gave away the south a few generations ago... by spitting in the face of American values and working class ethics.
Reality is the rust belt should have flipped 20+ years ago... it has only been family loyalty to past union members that have kept it D this long. That was one of the most striking things I realized when I moved to the rust belt 30some odd years ago. For the most part these people were as republican as anyone I had ever met growing up in the south... with the exception of a loyalty to unions handed down from several generations of working in the mills and mines...
As those industries collapsed and the D party went further and further whackadoo... these voters refused to vote republican out of historical family allegences to democrats... but they didn’t got democrat either... the nuttier the d’s got the more they just disengaged...
Had republicans made any honest effort to win these voters they could have had them at least 10-20 years ago... had they abandoned “free” trade and open borders... but they were being funded by schlubs who wanted this crap so they offered in no meaningful way a reason for these voters to switch..
Trump made an appeal to them and won, and if republicans are smart they will learn from it, and the upper midwest will be as solidly red as the south. But if they keep the GOPe/uniparty crap going on these people will just go back to disengagement. They won’t vote D. But they won’t vote R by default either.
The GOPe better wake up...
