Why the Liberal Bubble Got Charlottesville Wrong

Since the founding of the Soviet Union, modern leftists have been trying to portray Communism as a great thing. We know they’ve succeeded because calling anyone a Nazi is viewed as a heinous charge while calling someone a Communist is no big deal and can even be considered a compliment by some leftists.

Walter Duranty, a NYT reporter, got a Pulitzer prize for lying about the mass starvation in the Ukraine in the 1930s. Now that we know the truth, neither the Pulitzer committee nor the NYT want to retract the award.

Leftists are so eager to support Communism that they say that a reporter who covered up Communism’s mass murder of millions of people deserves an award for journalism.

On the other hand, leftists and the MSM are so eager to condemn Nazis that they call people who aren’t Nazis, Nazis just so they can condemn Nazis.

You’d never guess that leftists were big fans of Nazis when the Nazis and the Communists invaded Poland. The designated enemy of the people in 1940 was Great Britain, then fighting alone against a triumphant Third Reich.

You’d probably never believe that the only reason that leftists don’t like Nazis is because the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union. Prior to that Nazis, leftists, and Communists were all best buds.

It’s not surprising, since Nazis aren’t the political opposite of Communists; they are just two movements on the Left of the political spectrum. Leftists pretend that Nazis and Communists are opposites so that they can make Communists look good.

No one over the age of 25 believes that socialism will work.

What they do believe is that pretending to be a socialist gives them the means to attain power and wealth.

The citizens of the socialist utopia of Venezuela are eating cats and dogs while their supposedly socialist leaders are eating lobster and drinking champagne.

It’s that way in every socialist regime.

The media made fools of themselves regarding Trump and Charlottesville.

The media denounced Trump for not explicitly condemning “alt right” or “white supremacists” by name. They denounced Trump for taking so long to make a statement at all. They denounced him for raising the idea that leftist protesters were involved with violence.

No matter what he d.said, the media found some fault with some aspect of his reaction.

It makes you wonder, is there ANYTHING Trump can say or do, which would have passed muster with Wolf Blitzer and Chris Cuomo and Rachel Maddow and Mika and George Steph and the gang,..... Is there anything he can do which would meet with their approval, based on whatever today’s criteria for criticism are?????

The martyrdom of Heather, as many of us speculated, was a fabrication (how we polite people say `lie’) as the proof here, that she wasn’t struck by the car but tripped over her own feet and died from heart attack, with the real culprits apparently being countless assaults by McDonalds large fries, BK Whoppers and Hershey Hugs:

(Thanks again to the 4chan autists)

Of course, plowing into a crowd with your muscle car remains at issue.

The left is an amalgamation of evil. This paragraph is absolutely terrifying:

“To understand the small difference between the two ultimate big-government parties let’s go to a little old Lithuanian woman who had survived being conquered by both Nazis and Communists. She said that she preferred Nazis because if you did what they told you to do, they’d leave you alone, while Communists wanted you to think the way they thought; modern liberalism’s roots are clearly found in Communism.”

LMAO. That graphic is right up there with the announcement from some guy in Texas right after the Charlottesville incident -- that he was starting a GoFundMe account to raise money to fix the Dodge Challenger that plowed into the crowd.

Of course a defendant takes his victim as he finds her (”thin skulled plaintiff/victim”) but the Horst Wessel/Rachel Correy underpinning to this `tragedy’ is sordid.
The left took this young, prolly lonely and misguided woman and used her to advance their destructive agenda. Picking bad company has consequences. RIP Heather Heyer.

Well now, that is interesting. Are they sure that’s her?

I know the pol-acks are as flighty as Thanksgiving turkeys, but the focused autism is strong with them.

No, I don’t know. But if it is, it pretty much blows the left’s narrative—that she was killed by being struck by the Challenger—out of the water.

OTOH, you can argue the car running into others triggered the heart attack which killed her. So we’re back to one of their favorite gambits: “My dog doesn’t bite.” But it did. “OK. That isn’t my dog.” But it has a tag with your name and address. “Someone put that on him.” B-b-but ...

...........
It was one of the great feats of the frankfurt school to redefine the nazis as conservatives rather than another leftist socialst group.

They’ve got a pretty good track record. If that’s her it weakens the narrative somewhat, at least as far as the facts go. Of course at this point it probably doesn’t matter, sort of like how the facts of “hands up, don’t shoot” don’t matter.

I assume the authorities have an investigation underway and will publish the findings at some point. That will be interesting.

His strongest defense will prolly be, “They were blocking the road, pounding on my car. They had clubs. They had beaten other MAGAs. I didn’t want to be Reginald Denny. I panicked.”
And a plea.

The news is trying to force the false choice of either supporting anti-facism or racism.

The public is choosing “none of the above” and "getting fed up with divisive identity politics".

Good catch. It doesn’t even look like she was knocked down due to a transmitted impact. An assault, as a minimum, requires some kind of direct or indirect touching. An indirect touching would be getting run down by a terrified crowd running from a speeding car. As you write, this GIF makes it look like she fell over her own feet. If so found by a jury, the car’s driver is unlikely to be found guilty of any kind of homicide.

Yep, and there’s a decent chance that’s exactly what happened.

The premise of the article is wrong. The “liberal bubble” did not get Charlottesville “wrong”, they deliberately lied about it to support their desired outcome.
