Well, well, well. Hope the "destroy Trump" media enjoys the taste of crow now that it has been revealed that, yes, Virginia, Trump Tower and its occupants who were in contact with both candidate and President-elect Trump, including one Paul Manafort, were in fact wiretapped as Trump claimed. Obama’s DOJ and James Comey were both liars in denying the wiretapping for which Trump was widely mocked:
Department of Justice lawyers say that the department has no evidence for President Trump’s controversial claim that President Obama ordered wiretaps of Trump Tower during last year’s presidential campaign. In a filing made public on Friday, the lawyers wrote that “both the FBI and [National Security Division] confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by” Trump. The filing was made in response to a Freedom of Information Act request made by the group American Oversight.In a series of early-morning tweets sent on March 4, Trump had claimed, without offering any evidence, that he had “just found out” that Obama had tapped Trump Tower toward the end of last year’s presidential race.
When asked about Trump Tower being wiretapped, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said that he would have been aware of any FISA court-ordered surveillance of Trump Tower and the Trump surrogates within during the campaign by the Obama administration., He says he was not, implying there was none:

They denied that they “ had any records” of wiretapping ( aka electronic surveillance)
Perhaps those records hsve mystetiously surfaced, like Hillary’s Rose Law Firm records
Nothing will happen on this until, at a minimum, Sessions is ousted at the DoJ.
Sessions is a worm. A doormat. Nice guy, but he needs to move to The Villages and get a luxury golf cart.
Of course, nothing at all will come of this, since this fits the modus operandi of the MSM "Drive-by-Media" where they pull up, spray bullets, and run off, never looking back. If nothing came of it, it is as if their accusations never happened.
That said, I love the line quoted above. It only leaves two choices:
1.) James Clapper was incompetent and out of touch with operations.
2.) James Clapper was lying.
I admit to liking the pigeonhole that forces Clapper into.

With all of this surveillance involving people in the Trump campaign, you can be sure that Sessions was recorded in some of these conversations. There's no way he could oversee any investigation in these matters.
You are too kind. I think it is more likely that he is a deep cover agent for the Uniparty who is making sure that Hillary and the rest of the Left are protected and that Mueller is left to finish his job of destroying and indicting Trump and various members of his administration.

Sessions came up w/ the definitive statement to solve the problem.....even as Trump campaigned.
"Dedicated, hard-working public servant" FBI Director James Comey assured us that "we are not weasels."
Juan Williams, who "supports the hard-working, patriotic men and women of our intelligence services" agrees and that should be good enough for everyone.

CNN reported Monday evening that the US government, under President Barack Obama, had wiretapped Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort — both during after the 2016 presidential campaign. The report vindicates earlier reporting by conservative talk radio host Mark Levin, and by Breitbart News, which the entire mainstream media attempted to dismiss at the time as a “conspiracy theory” to mock Trump and to protect Obama.
The media pounced after President Trump tweeted on March 4: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” Leading the “conspiracy theory” charge was none other than CNN itself.
Brian Stelter, host of Reliable Sources, wrote at the time that the wiretapping story was an “incendiary idea” floated by Levin, Breitbart News, and others before reaching Trump’s attention. CNN’s Jeff Zeleny specifically reported that the Breitbart News story about the wiretapping had been widely read in the West Wing of the White House.
“Was Breitbart the main source for Trump’s tweet?” Stelter wondered. He had little interest in the underlying story, which had stitched together facts from mainstream media reports in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other sources. Instead, Stelter and others at CNN poured scorn on the idea...... And so it has.
Literally the entire mainstream media were wrong, and Mark Levin and Breitbart News — and Trump himself — were right. And we were right because the facts were sitting in front of our noses, in bold print at the top of the front page of the New York Times.
