They’ve been planning a take down of Drudge and the like since 2015. The word he had then was that they’d be coming for him and similar outlets toward the right after the election.
And clearly Drudge has pulled back on his posting this year.

Media Matters, normally a friendly website/publication invents a conspiracy.
Or, was given one by the deep state.
According to them, publication of news from Russia is becoming a platform for Russian propaganda. Because everyone knows Americans have no discernment...nor any right to hear an alternate source or point of view.
Disgraceful. MM would not exist were it not for Drudge.

Trump won because he bypassed traditional media by using social media. His favorite tactic was to tweet something that would drive the leftists nuts and then the MSM would need to report about it or look like they were missing the big news. 8 years prior Obama used social media and it was hailed as ground breaking. Now all of the sudden social media is "tainted" Drudge is "compromised" reports of constant "fake news" are being leveled at Twitter all stemming from the MSM.
See a pattern here?
