To: Sub-Driver

This is only marginally on point, and not enough for its own thread, so please go easy on me.

I am a large fan of Emma Stone and made the extremely rare decision to watch her on Stephen Colbert’s show. His monologue was less pointed than expected. Maybe he has a harder time defending socialism, communism and North Korea than usual.

Then I fast-forwarded through an extended interview with some old woman dressed in clothes Mao Tse-tung might have worn. The audience seemed enthralled with the old bag as she hawked her book, What Happened?.

Then Emma Stone came on and validated my love for her when the first words out of her mouth were, “Who was that?”
