The National Institutes of Health is spending nearly $200,000 on a study that seeks to improve older women's sex lives through mindfulness meditation.
The University of Pittsburgh received the funding for the project, which began last month. Mindfulness, a New Age meditation technique of thinking about thoughts, will be used as an intervention to get women older than 50 more active in the bedroom.

Attention, Pitt Alumni
When you get that call trying to put the arm on you for a donation, have a LOOOOOOOONG chat with the caller about this story.
The project got $400,000 from the National Institutes of Health.
My job was to read all the answers on the sexual part of the questionnaire and get the answers ready for tabulation.
I asked what the purpose of the study was and I was told that they wanted to find two things: they wanted to see how many homosexuals there were in the nursing homes and they wanted to be able to take their findings to the state legislature and have a law passed where every nursing home in the state would be mandated to provide a room where "two people" could go in and have sex.
Well, we only found one person who admitted to being a homosexual, but he was disqualified because he refused to complete the sexual questionnaire. Therefore, they statistically found no homosexuals in any nursing home.
And, as far as women being interested in sex - the major answer that was given by the old ladies was that their sex life died when their husband died. They did not even think about sex anymore.
So, the end effect of the study was that they were unable to take their findings to the state legislature and they were sued by at least five families who found out that grandma was asked some very untoward questions about sex.
And you all paid for that study with your tax dollars.
The professor doing this particular study does have ulterior motives.
boy, talk about a hamster wheel...Holy $hit!
I would suggest a lidocaine super lubricant
Loosing 50lbs would help her
Meditation? That’s a great idea!
“Faster honey...you’ve got the right pitch...but just a little faster.”
I usually don’t disagree with you, but quaaludes? Really? What about just proper hormone balance naturally? No need to drug her, lol. Replace her E and T to normal girl levels, add progesterone, perfect.
The women were clearly lying on their surveys when they said “their sex life died when their husband died.”
It actually died the day the honeymoon ended.
You are just as flippant as the people who designed the study.
Nearly $200,000 would buy a lot of beer goggles for the guys and paper bags for the gals.
